For fame, young Zackery thought:
a train hop TikTok shot!
He struck his head
and wound up dead.
Now, damages are sought.

No Second Chances

We could ride the storm
Get banged, bruised and survive
But we may never get a second chance
To rectify damages we've cause through
Trickery and lies

FIRE

Blaze
Fire tenders
Rush to control
Burns, Smoke, Death, Grief
Irreparable

Irreparable
Damage, Damages
air, water, power
high winds, climate change
Hot

Infidelity

One of the problems that damages
the household is adultery
Other marital problems
can be easily solved
by dedication.
But if one is
unfaithful,
it's a
risk.

Life Is Like

Life is like a running track...
Hurdles- they are challenges,
We must leap high to pass by
harmful hurtful damages.
Though if we fall we must stand tall
to power on and strive,
Round every bend ’til the end
we run to stay alive.

Bitter Harvest

Acidulous feelings of hatred

perpetuates those heart

revenge is born in the dark.

The end of this road is death

 where equanimty is destroyed

with irrepairable damages.

Love starts excruciating,

the deepest scars with

impossible recuperations.

Damages

Face to face
Mirrors cracking between the irony
As the glasses fall
And my breath is lost
My eyes turn red
And my feet
can not seem to find the ground
My hands fighting to hold on
My body has given up
But my soul remains intact
I just don't know about yours.

Cruelty

Cunning with wily mind
   crafting ways of deceit.
Crooked with twisted heart
      curating ways to harm.
Crude with boorish actions
   causing wild damages.
      Cruelty embodied!

Fall of Natural Beauty

Women’s wombs, I guess
have run short of materials
beautiful babies are not born
paintings, fittings are after birth
Inventors paint and finish
things pregnant mothers miss
beauty made by machines
and bought in supermarkets
repair shortfalls and damages
to create beautiful adult babies
so artificial and ordinary

Damages

I drag it all out into the light.
Opening old wounds.
Trying to make sense of it all.
Trying to cope.
You, are all fine
Leaving it burried.
I can't let go of the past.
You tell me to forget it,
As if you know how I feel.
You still refuse to see the scars.
But your world is perfect now,
Now that he's gone.
And I'm the one,
Still damaged

Premium Member Watchers

I can’t abandon ship because
The watchers of the show
Won’t let me in - their gates are closed
So there’s no way to go
Among the horde of savages
I’m of no face and name
Appointed to cause damages
To fit the guessing game
How soon I’ll sink in agony
They’d raise their glasses high
To cheer me up, before I flee
Out of their world to mine.

To a Friend

To a friend

A friend of mine ended up in a hospital
His heart had taken a heavy load of a hard life.
I told him he was no longer Tarzan. but a middle-aged man
whatever unresolved problem he has in the past
he had to leave it behind in the heap of hurts and slights
that hatred only damages the hater.
I spoke from experience, I had been where he is now.

Love Is Louder

I know silence grows
Between you and I
Depression descends on us both
We both know the deal
Between you and I
Nothing damages our love or our hope

We hold forever
Between you and I
The connections we share lead the way
Right now silence grows
Between you and I
Our love keeps us strong every day

I’m always here for you, always with love.

Birds With Broken Wings

two birds
from a distant land
wandering in the wilderness
with their distorted wings,
a pitiable pain and hapless heart
... life had become a meaningless art
damages were irrecoverable
she was a blood splattered queen
and his had a fallen dream.
two perfect souls
living in imperfection...
till they met each other
love flooded their heart with eternity.....

True Peace Miracle Man 3/14/2023 In my thirst for calmness thoughts usher me to a time, long since forgotten. A time when the Golden Rule was the standard, And hand shake our bond. Now, airwaves are polluted by noxious chatter aimed at all, leaving collateral damage. Today, labels bind us, cancel culture damages us, But true peace is still found in Jesus.

Premium Member Man-Child In His Promised Land

Man-child in his Promised Land
He burns Bibles as would a savage
Spews failed Marxist-Leninist garbage
  Then 'safe spaces' he demands

Coddled criminal, he totes a weapon
  Storefronts, he loots and damages
Government buildings his firebombs ravage
Then he screams, "The police -- defund!"

And all the while, Liberals take him seriously
As he spits and vomits on America and her history

Stability

Oh! What makes one`soul happy?
Is it thoughts, words or actions?
Let free your reasoning!
Do not withhold fear

Fear devours the inner self
Damages all the confidence
Destroys knowledge of raison de vivre!

Let go all the agony buried
So, remember! remember!
Thinking beneath capability is dump
Thinking beyond is deadly!
Great are those who speak truth!
Truth of hope, fantasies and that of love.

What you can't outrun

I wrestle with my homesick heart
collecting damages , these roads I travel on
There's nowhere left to go
I forget to measure distance, time and space....the world stretches out before me
There's nowhere left to go
But still my feet carry me straight on, longing for a destination
I want to rest my head, and tell my heart things it will understand
Needed consolation
There's nowhere left to go

Repent

forgiveness of sins
deceptive
the never ending echos that SCREAMS TRUST
broken,and damages
a trust that bends the key of ones heart
a key that spreads with connective atom
an atom that builds before it explodes
a prayer to the lord
guilt that kills the heart
the stoppage, of life pouring out lies
open up your heart and forgive me
repent with your soul
bury the lies and rebuke any strings that spread pain

Premium Member On Breakaway

Spear my heart with love
Let it beat; Let it clap
Open my eyes with the truth
Let it see; Let not be fooled

Glance at me once or twice
Behold and distinguish all spice
Perceive not the bad but nice
Quietly do becoming wise

Everyday there are changes
Find, explore all that enhances
Hurdle, succeed all ravages
Breakaway from all damages
