Relax, Mrs. Crockter
An old lady went to the doctor.
Soon the nurse came in as a proctor.
Her face was blushing red.
She covered up her head.
“Relax and think of Davy Crocker.”

I wonder if Betty was grandmother to Norman Both being creative and somewhat prolific Not knowing either well, I can’t be specific I’m betting they both own a George Foreman.

Ninja Restaurant
I walked her home
Chatting aimlessly of nothing
Finding words to fill time
As we slithered by the Betty Crocker Shop
Sweet fragrances
Of apple pie and coffee
In a death grip
Pulled us both inside
And forced us to sit at a table
The waitress
A knowing accomplice
Snickering behind her receipt book
Scribbled down mounds of orders
That were forced upon us by the heated oven
Three hundred pounds later we left...

The Crooked Finger Points
With your hands held up limply;
As if consumed by a fear;
You claim your provisions;
So few can come near
      But I hear only echoes;
      Designed and construed.
      Like as growth from a hot house;
      Not flower or food.
But this meat and potatoes;
With butter and bread
And these rhyme’s Betty Crocker;
Will it stay in your head?
    This venue you’re serving’
     Lacks an herb or a spice;
     And until you are sorry;
     You only suffice....

Poem For a Friend
Poem for a Friend

Had written a poem with my pen a quill

Then I headed straight for Nashville

For a new song to bring to life?

Free from sorrow and all strife.

My song sure was happy as can be

And always reminded me of me

Never lethargic but full of love

Flying around like a white dove.

Many ways with words hate to mince

So with this great poem I will dispense

Read formula for it in Betty Crocker

Has become a real head knocker.
