Disembodied hands
Creeping up the alley way
Deadly spiders too
Poison snakes and scorpions
Crawling 'round on Halloween
Reaching
Grasping
Creeping
Lasting
Stronger than the reaching grasping pain
Still it leaves a creeping lasting stain.
I can sense
the creeping
overture.
t’s blasting
out windows
to the lawns.
Pepping up
an entire
neighborhood.
bright sun creeping west
palmetto fronds rise upward
nature is praying

A leaf, curled and crimson,
bends beneath branches,
burdened by cold and creeping chaos.
a returning warmth
creeping evidence of spring
my muddy footprints

Spring Haiku Poetry Contest

Rain just stopped
incessant cry of frog, stopped
a creeping cobra
If I ever have to meet a bear
While through the woods I am creeping
I hope I find him in his cave
In winter while he's sleeping
Form:
Party-face comes midnight creeping,
Proposing passion—piles heaping.
To boudoir—lustfully leaping,
Next I know—serenely sleeping.
yesterday laughed
my bones creaked so
my age creeping
I was shocked; when did this happen?
moreover, who is this old one?
my age creeping
Creeping warm and green
when the sun returned golden,
spring sang in meadows.
Blooming mountains, bumblebees-
all danced to loved melodies.
Silent fog creeping
Over cool empty grasses
Awakening slowly
Lush sloping green fields
Wild flowers swaying gently
Morning dew glistening
Complacency, leisure and ease,
Sloth is a creeping disease.
To take your first breath,
Put comfort to death,
Only then, the day you may seize!
Green Creeping Jenny
Growing from hanging basket
Clinging porch rail
Hanging on for dear
Life knowning winter is near
Will you survive year
Night
Dark, clear
Creeping, thundering, scaring
The people should be scared to roam at this time
Never ending, deadly, sneaking
Quiet, maniacal
Creeping slowly on
Passing thru the sands of life
Mysterious world

Time is precious
and a no friend of man.
From the rising sun of the dawn,
to the creeping clouds of the dusk,
the slim fingers of the clock tick.
one small stone
laments it place on top
a crooked tower
built on sand
cannot abide a rising tide
slow creeping near

TWILIGHT
Daylight was creeping into dusk
Yet enough light remained
To see the shadow or father
As he hoed before rain

Write a monoku about an injustice, a passion or fear Poetry Contest
Tania Kitchin
I fear Father Time creeping up on me~
and taking my breath away.
Creeping quietly, crawling slowly
Walking stealthly, eying hungrily
Waiting patiently, calculating rapidly
the cat pranced, on the rat soon deceased
Form:
Dark creeping footsteps
cursed fools, thinking it is but
Shadows and air's breath

Dear Heart
A Carolina Wren
jabs and weaves
hopping in and out
of a ring of sunlight,
it has pugnacity,
but the cat creeping near
does not care.
Budding, preening tendrils in winter sunshine
Flora grasping, creeping from terra firma
Standing breathless, dawn is a sapphire calyx
Hope springs eternal
In the deep darkness
There is a grey mist rolling
A fog creeping in
With any light you can see
The grey mist tailing on by
