Lesser Expectations
Upsidedown on monkey bars
hanging from my knees,
dopey grins are sorrowful frowns
and upward drift dry leaves

Swinging back to front –
my favorite view of life,
bobbleheads go bobbing by
and time ticks counterclockwise

Only for me!...

Uniquely Insane
Deconstructed ideas of a maniac has me perplexed
The gears are turned counterclockwise
A backwards internal clock tells time differently
Thoughts that should not be understood
Visions that cannot be pictured
Analyze them not, but respect their genius...

wisteria bines
wrap around a rustic fence -
counterclockwise cling
     a robin weaves through raceme
     its wee pretty wings giddy

4/10/2019

bines - a twining stem

raceme (ray-seem) - a flower cluster with the separate flowers attached by short stalks at equal distances along a central stem....

Kind of a Customized Story
Copy…paste
Counterclockwise time.
And then slowly it all merged
to an old worn-out page.

I smile too little, I think, now a day
Learning a lot of difficult definitions, lately
Kind of a customized story
Yet a repetition of hundred times.

Boon is a divine word
Could not be compared to a curse.
Kindled and enlightened so
Don’t care about shadows....

The Clock
I watched the clock struck twelve.
It turned over and over
Until it reached twelve again.
Suddenly, a moth flew at my sight.
I stared at the blank space,
My past turns like the clock.

On twenty eleven, I was on Jim’s clock,
Last year, on John’s,
This year, on Joy’s.
Different clocks with same moves,
On different time, On same path.
Is there a clock who turns counterclockwise?

None!...

Ocean Her
Quiet eyes turn down
to a delicate finger
scratching edges of chaos
in the sand

ink runs in tears
off
the last of his words
bending her spine
spilling moments undone
winding counterclockwise since
friday
    before last week .....

foamy tide trenches
beneath her small feet
fistfulls of impossible rage splatter
retreating waves

the softest breeze carries
inhuman howls of anguish
to the heavens where his tears
      mix with hers...

Counterclockwise
Frozen in time, right before my eyes
suddenly my life reversed counterclockwise
moving right along with no hesitation
I begin to move backwards I lost concentration

Reminiscing about my past history
entertaining doubt,confusion and misery
driven to despair from the effect of my condition
blinded my thoughts I lost my position

"Lo and Behold"I was set free
ambition came to rescue me
moving forward with my eyes set
on the prize, never to revisit counterclockwise....
