Samuel Cooper a miniaturist
with modelling heads did persist
Accuracy& proportion was his style
achieved by talent& a little guile
WOMAN
Woman,
Mother,
Breast of sustenance;
Assurance.
Giving,
Raising,
Unconditional LOVE.

Hands reach up and pray
To the valley of the sun
Where gold, cooper and steel
Are cast and forge into one
Making wheels to ride
The chariot of the Gods
Oh Lord,
Never allow the weeds
To grow under my feet,
Cause I might just be
Pulled out and discarded
Onto the compost heap of life…...

Gary Cooper cocked his gun
And pointed it at everyone
He aimed to shoot Frank Miller
A cowboy and a would-be killer
Of Amy, Gary Cooper's loved one.

Bob was happy with his Mini Cooper
It drove great, making him an in-grouper.
But a hawk aloft dove speedily
Taking the car in his claws greedily.
Now Bob calls the hawk a party pooper.
Stairs
By: Shaneika Cooper
I’m too cute to lower myself to your level
So turn around and go back DOWN
Your stairs, and I’ll turn around
And go UP mine!
We are the fuhrer's cross-century storm trooper,
before us anyone except him must stand a stooper.
Storm the Dems in a jiff,
sink the SCIF, then skin Schiff,
sling back tightly locked and cooped Laura Cooper.
IN THE SMALLEST OF US
In the smallest of us
There are GIANTS.
In the least of us
There are NOBLE PRIZE champions.
In the battered souls of us
There are many VICTORIA CROSS winners.

Alice Cooper!
Wait, you’re not Nancy Wilson!
You have no Heart!
You’re not even a woman!
Ah, but you are wafting through my radio!
And you are quite clever!
I wish I could have seen you
when you came to Knoxville
Scary!
Oh Lord,
Help me to grow as your word smith,
And give me the words
And the courage,
That you and only you,
Will want me to write,
To express my love in you
As a gift to give to others
As an enrichment of my soul…

Thinking......
thinking;
can be cure for
of being utterly bored.
utterly bored;
can be a sign of
having no inner strength.
no inner strength or indehiscent;
isn’t of opening up to words
from the innermost self of one.

THE POET
I sculpture,
I mould,
I cast,
I construct,
I nurture,
I embrace,
My thoughts,
My dreams,
My destiny,
My hopes,
My pleasures,
My beliefs,
As another rises from my pen
On the notebook laid bare
Before I wrote.

Terry's Death
Terry's death was a crushing blow
One we loved and closely did know
Hear at home he had died
And his family cried and cried
Party for him we should throw.
That was what they did for Terry
today. They had a service followed
by a wake. Jim Horn
Sheldon Cooper is the king nerd
His reality is so blurred
while Leonard wants Penny
and she's had so many
Their social skills are so absurd

Dawn’s herald sounds forth,
Night’s ramparts are stormed,
Her daunting walls breached.
Westward she withdraws,
Her keep abandoned,
The conquest complete.
Day’s standard flies high,
Proclaiming rebirth,
Warming the chill land.

Once there were two writer friends Wallace and Cooper.
Into novelization of the original King Kong film, no souper.
“Edgar Wallace didn't write any of Kong, not one bloody word...
I'd promised him credit and so I gave it to him” Cooper’s word
Bloody, informal discussions do worth acknowledgement Cooper!
Do This in Remembrance…

Light a candle, turn on a light, whatever…
Open a book, lift a heart
Write a poem, a story, and hold it to yourself
And sing and cry out a joyful sound!
Do this to spread knowledge, art, spoken words
And grasp a hand, and hold it tight
To carry on the legacy of my name

Charcoal polished fingernails poke the clouds,
Gun metal arms staunch and concrete,
flex under the sun.
Chiseled gray palms clasp tightly,
shelter gummed pavement .
Still,praying hands protect Charleston Harbor.

Of My Mornings Be....
of colours,
of greys,
of sad,
start of another day for me.
which is part of my journey be
I ask do these thoughts
ever go away or lift,
or do I escape from inner self.
first of morn;
I don’t plan,
just here!
just there!
but where oh where oh where is here exactly….

FROM ANTIQUE TOMES
Olde hearts
From an ancient age,
Cry out to be heard
From us being a new world sage,
Remember,
Remember us they cry
That we are not forgotten memories,
Or untold stories
But what you are today
And from antique tomes
And olde dry bones,
We both have travelled far…..

FROM THE MANY THREADS.
From the many threads
That makes the history of a family tree,
I have learned;
From an ancestry,
Where I have been drawn
To learn of many
Hopes and dreams,
That has gone before,
And from each new step
I have woven a tapestry,
Of the finest yarn and narrative told.

Uncus, last of the Mohicans
Chingachgook mourns his only son
Now dead at Magua's evil hands
Uncus, last of the Mohicans
With Hawkeye he quietly stands
Looking out at twilight's gleaming
Uncus, Last of the Mohicans
Chingachgook mourns his only son
Scene from the movie Last of the Mohicans,
based on a novel by James Fennimore Cooper.
