Trappe within my skin, 
trapped within my life.
I live each day within
the same parameters
of responsibility.
I do right
no matter what.

I've done wrong
believing it was right.
Such constrictions, 
such borders, 
leave me no outs, 
no excuses.
I want to explode, 
but suspect implosion
will be my lot.

Where do I get relief
within the boundaries
that I set?

Take a cleansing breath, 
embrace the rules,
embrace the borders
