Forty summers, forty springs
You concentrate on brighter things.
Then forty autumns, forty cold
Decembers…and you’re growing old.

stop the music

concentrate on the

behind one closed eye
in a ball in the
dark
pain in endless supply

Not Always An Eyesore

clutter to me isn't bad, because it:
gives me exercise when looking for things,
keeps me company when alone in the house,
makes my guests concentrate on me,
and hides my lack of artistic talent with interior decor.

Premium Member Citi Calls

Concentrate on being good in many ways.
It may take a lot of work but it pays.
To be bad is too easy...
It only takes a moment to ruin yourself
  and live life in misery.
Sit and relax, and take your time to bloom!

Premium Member Grandfather Pigeons Goal

Choosing his lunch was the pigeon grandfather’s goal.
He liked lasagna and fettuccini down to his Italian soul.
But right now, he had to concentrate on his pigeon hole.

INFINITY

Pure Science

Positively science
Unusual activities not
Really used by
Everyone else

See you are okay because everyone doesn’t
Concentrate on the same things
In fact some get paid to do
Experiments on phenomena
Not used by us everyday but maybe
Certainly done in the times to come
Extrordinary now but ordinary soon.

Whispers

What is whispered in my ear
At night when sleep isn't near
So quietly I concentrate on
A conversation that is soon gone

Maybe there are words I want to hear
But when heard so quietly it is not clear
There would seem to be no choice for them
In this whispered communication they send.

Battle

Why these battles present themselves? Unknown...
Out of my control,
Gotta let it roll,
What can I do?
Be honest and true,

Sometimes doesn't seem right,
Comes day by day,
Learning which ones to fight,
That's the trick

Dwell on the wrong,
Or concentrate on the good,
Have faith in your choices,
All will be mellow in the hood

Conversation

As I talk to you,
The world is silent,
As I concentrate on you,
My eyes are focused,
When communication is key,
We listen so intent fully,
As we talk,
Our eyes are locked,
When I speak,
You rest your chin on your hands,
When you speak,
I hear soft words,
When our communication is key,
Strength in the day fills me,
Our conversation means allot to me.

Panic Attack

Dizzy ceiling which i stare in..
I admire the texture that i'm feeling.
Meanwhile i am shaking, writing,
fighting with emotions.
I must concentrate on something
to forget the pain i feel.
I am breathing while i sink
just to know that this is real.
I can't help to catch my beat.
from my destructive head
way down to my feet.
Lifeless, scared and sad.

Butterflies In My Stomach

There is something ailing me
But I can't bring myself to say
It would cause pain and happiness for two people
Each and every day

I can't concentrate on my work
No matter how hard I try
Because every time I think of you
My stomach fills with butterflies

I love you
I have and always will
I will never be able to tell you
Your happiness it would kill

Crush

Sitting here,
thinking of you
What should I say to you?
What should I do?

Everytime you smile at me,
it makes my pulse race
I try to concentrate on other things,
but all I see is your face

Your eyes, your smile,
the way you look
My pulse starts racing,
with just one look

What should I say?
What should I do?
To show you,
that I have a crush on you

Premium Member Karmic Lessons

Listen to poem:
maybe I need to
attend karma school
or karma church…
to learn to let go
learn to forgive
learn to set free
to be free
to live and let live
to concentrate on my own path
let others follow theirs
let them learn what
they need to learn
and focus solely on the life lessons
I am meant to learn
