Notes About The Poem

Bitesize No99 Poetry Contest

Just Being

As the pressures and noise
of my world are closing in on me,
I breathe in deeply, praying
with each breath and breathe out
Taking one step at a time
and concentrate on just being.

Dear Kathleen, As I read I thought how your words feel like a gentle tug to slow down and find peace in the moment. They carry a beautiful stillness that reflects deeply and I loved it. Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel
