Goodbye my LOVE,
Fly ah way little DOVE.
For when you come back,
from ABOVE, I'll be right here, waiting for your LOVE.
Picture a moment in time
Held captive in a frame
Old memories come back to life
Treating us to glimpses
Of treasures from the past
Go and experience
Your fears
My dears
Come back and say
No drinking today
What a wonderful thing
And all the peace it brings
Ah! Already I can feel that
terrible light dimming in my heart!
Come back! I would rather live with agony
than be dead to love!
Lying here at dawn
