It made me so sad I became bucolic;
Testy have been,
Without a grin;
No wonder my wife was an alcoholic.

Stock Funds
There lies my wallet on my bureau,
Pictures, it has ten….. money zero.

Each night I go out to check my 401K,
..They’re in the barn …eating hay.

Every day they go out to pasture to play whinny and frolic,

Chickens we consign to coops
    Pigs we pack into pens
Horses we corral in a stable
Cows we stick in a shed

Our children play in spacious playpens

there hie took
a dose or two
maybe even three
of medicine
followed by
some liquid
libation

here he suddenly died
in a manner of minutes

his disease
was found to be
bilious colic...

Snow Path
Ice pile up on window rubbed away.
Sun tasting isicles, drips on sips today.
It may pass May but bitter cold will not relinquish its hold
on bouquet of snow fakes frozen outside.
With a kiss,
lips seal spring of winter green bliss when parting tree bough
red bow heavy cardinal.
Like a card greeting you,
jay laugh out loud, blue wing fowl encouraging smile.
Ever more do snow haunt of grave frolic,
as babies with colic cry,
Squalls whimpering to die as raven fly.

The End....
