He fancies himself a Yankee Doodle
He does, my nattily coiffed French Poodle
Struts with nose in the air
Flaunting his layered hair
Just got him a playmate ~ a grizzly bear

I stood on the rooftop ready to jump,
I was tired of taking lump after lump,
so while I prepared to leap
I noticed it was too steep...
can't mess up my hair coiffed like Donald Trump!

Limerick
Coiffed virtues dazzle in their radiance bright,
Seize such a soul ere it dessipitates from sight,
As vanity wanes with fleeting candescence,
Whispering peacock promises in effervescence.

He dresses in robes, carefully coiffed
He enters the nave, mitre is doffed
He preaches a tale, to eager sheep
He fleeces their wool, his tithe to keep
He blesses the flock, they’ve had their fill
He slithers away, forked tongue now still

Green Panatela
Waiting in his Cadillac, silver gray,
Dr. Oates swerves his lighter
to his green panatela.
Next to Dr. Oates,
a poodle, silver gray, barks
where Mrs. Oates will sit
in moments now,
when from the beauty shop,
coiffed silver gray,
majestically she issues.

Elegant Lady
Charming smile, back straight, chin up,
designer dress, hair well-coiffed, and
lovely legs and feet braced by stilettos,
she walks with confidence and beauty.
Elegance hides well the pain within.

The sky was blue--no clouds at all.
Just the empty palette of a day past.
And --like the lightening, an airplane struck the sky
Big and Brave
and in a flash, it was gone.
Leaving behind the most brilliant stream of orange cloud
Creamy and Coiffed--elaborated tapestries of the sunlight's sweetness
That day I found a dreamsicle in the sky.

Imagism
Sampling efforts of various chefs
spent the morning making cakes
High spirited independant miss
Hair coiffed in red rouge circles
On blue-and-siver striped sofa
She wrote poems about Spring
In cloth covered book with a lock
Greyhound poised at her feet
He took her to a dark restaurant
She opened the box... A gold
heart nestled in black satin.

A succoring dew around your hearth lays
To water your carefree, idle days
On your beauty sunspilt beams gaze
A nurtured value to appraise
In the availing breeze your mast sways
Gallantly swaggering in the afternoon haze
Your gilded petals a coiffed maze
Snowy dander your dainty folds doth glaze
A fragrant perfume distilled in fertile phase
Doting bees on your succulent nectar do graze

Evil hides behind a suit; perfectly dressed and coiffed it’s a pretty display that covers much rot. Its hate and greed are obvious reads but, often mis-interpreted by the desperate. Evil has its party; serving sour hors d’oeuvres to its guests; by the time they leave, they’re brainwashed.
Predators prowling;
Devouring prey, teeth rip flesh;
Everywhere carnage!

A radiantly coiffed bouffant was mine,
fit perfectly and curved to the nines.
I stood taking in the awe of counterparts
let them eat cake I chuckled in my heart.
The spring roll rumbling in my center
drifted to the lower parts no longer indentured.
I held my breath and prayed
that no sound or scent would stray
I wanted to drop to my knees
Oh God, please, don’t let me sneeze.

Morning quietly stands
On the silver sill,
Black heels puncturing the view,
A faceless, coiffed character
Turning its dim limbs
Into deliberatly chosen landscapes,
Eyes unraveled into the puddle
Of dripping crimson down the edges.
Her in bloom has never been riper
Under the weight of the light air
Smelling of fruity sweat
And sweet commotion behind the skin.
Close the window open
And let me crawl inside her.

Iris blue eyes that bright, azure beams strow
Lilly white neck with a radiant, translucent glow
Rosy cheeks blanching cotton swabs of milky snow
Viola black hair coiffed; silky strands strung in a tidy row
Magnolia-crescented bosom with a soft, silty furrow
Camellia-shaped paps that with sweet nectar flow
Butterfly Orchid legs; slender willows with tawny curves that billow
Anemone-cupped hands with graceful seams that her dignity doth sow
