Why does the brown mare stand
just so,
her head over the wire fence
but gazing at nothing?
Her tail flicks, ears prick.
Beyond the wire
a group of laughing children
run past, ignoring the horse.
Wet eyes momentarily clear
then cloud over again.
Why does the brown mare
stand just so
gazing at nothing?

I wish I didn't wake up in pain every morning
I wish I didn't have a cloud over my head every night
I wish that my mind wasn't flooded with thoughts
as I try to sleep
It's no longer something refreshing
but something I dread
I run to that when I can bare no more
As each night passes it gets worse and worse
They get colder and lonelier
I'm barely living
if at all

Beauty is a wonderful thing
It comes in many shapes and forms
Nothing holds it back. except eyes
They shouldn't because it's everywhere
The beauty in a gleaming smile
The beauty in bright, sparkling eyes
The beauty in a rising sun
The beauty in you and me
Beauty is a wonderful thing
But there's a cloud over our eyes
Hiding true beauty with empty lies
Open your eyes and remove the cloud

Let this rose be cherished with love.
Let its beauty beautify your resemblance.
Let the aroma mix with your fragrance
so the scent can cloud over me,
attract me, hypnotize me so my
love can never disappear.
Except this rose!
-Sincerely Brandon-

I do not know?
It's just a mini breakdown, nothing that a shot of whisky won't fix
a scratch
a nick
a heavy pail
and nothing helped
it's just a cry for help now
nothing that a pill or rest can't mend
so tired
so low
get back on the horse again
Oh Lord i'm such a failure
I've let my loved ones down
this cloud over my heart bursts
how do I get up out of bed today
There's nothing left to lift
I feel numb, can't even feel your kiss
I really need someway out of this
someone please help me
