I Plumber

My mind is a drain that gets clogged.
My pen is the snake that unclogg's the drain.
So in essence I am my own plumber.

The Scenes We Left Behind Remain

Embedded in tormented mind ,
blood clogged fields,
dangling limbs - contorted.
Whistling ammunition,
gun fire resounds.

John's Little Girl Limy

Poor little girl couldn't smell the rose
She was clogged up blocked in her nose
picked it clean
wasn't seen
What nobody sees nobody knows

Street Eats of Sizzling Meat

Following the food truck trend,
Peruvian fare:
Beef, chorizo, hot dog, eggs
crushing the limp bun—
one “superburger,”
carne clogged.
Split.

A Puppy Poem

The big fat dog
Ate like a hog
Laying around like a log
His brain was in a cloudy fog
Too big for a daily jog
Cause his arteries were clogged

OVERFLOW OF A SATURATED SHATTERED HUMAN MIND

This divine spark of ours, super informed
with images, sounds, words, so many
poor human mind, becomes numb, clogged...

To Hell With You

Micro-plastics have clogged up one vein
Fouled my stomach, and addled my brain
It is sad to say
But Trump got his way
Pollution remains a profit gain

Math

Numbers, symbols, lines,
Words, thinking, looking,
Wondering.
Problems, homework, symbols
clogged in my head.
Taking up space not knowing
When to pull it out in the future.

Premium Member Faith and Drains

Again, I've filled your faith
with black powdered phlegm
when they should be
brimming with precious gems.
In refrain, you cough clouds of blue rain
red roses circling clogged drains.

Clogged

I feel clogged like a drain
no draino to fix, just your ever
lasting stain on my brain.
I am stuffed to the point
of explosion. I am vexed.
These are signs of when
your heart is a mess.

Premium Member go to restaurant for oldsters

Village Inn
a go-to restaurant for oldsters
old old old old old people
the parking lot is full of walkers and canes
they are hobbling in the speed of clogged ketchup
at seventy-two, I feel like a baby chick next to them

Words

words dry on ink blots
rambling through reams of parchment--
the pen cannot speak

clogged thoughts grow restless--
as sunset bursts with color
to open new phrases

fingers slowly draw
rugged lines taking a twist
molding shaped image.

Freedom Calls

Last thing to hold on to
Last thing to belong to
Frayed lifeline to the temple
 —clogged artery that slows

Last thing to hold on to
Last thing to belong to
As wings expand, freedom calls
 —finally letting go

Premium Member Echoes Reamed Out, Cleaned, Redeemed

Listen to poem:
Time cleans out the rusty clogged drains
to forget the gritty dusty details
logged in echoes, stored for recall,
too messy, too truthful to retain.
I wonder why?
'cause the rough stuff
lodges in dreams stored
in the gooey
caramel centers
of chocolate creams.

Premium Member Where Secret Risers Meet

Where secret risers meet,
I've heard the lurid tales,
Upon sick gray waters,
dizzy be the mornings,
Clogged with the sound
Of coughing babies and laughing witches.
There! Against the rotten orange sky
Lies the remains of all you ever loved.
Hallowed be thine night!

Premium Member Yesterday

Yesterday my drain was clogged
Woe was me my brain was fogged
No toilet, sink or washing machine
Whole house smelled like a latrine
But a bottle of black did the trick
24 hours the drain was slick
The sink went down the washer works
The smell remains rotten eggs it lurks

Premium Member Vagrant Thoughts

During day, mind is clogged
By a thousand thoughts
A pot of marbles upturned
On attempting to sweep them together
They slip and slither
Running this way and that way

At night, after their vagrant wanderings
They come back to roost
......................... if not insomniac!

Fire Hydrant

Teetering on magma.
Just enough copy and pasted.
Jump onto a moving pine tree.
I have enough know how to trim the paint off a bench.
Strip down the clogged drain.

A fire hydrant.
Doesn’t know much about the landscape.
Just knows:
That today is not the day to be temperamental.

Premium Member The Drain's a Pain

The drain's a pain
 It's clogged again
The plunger's broke, what a bummer
To the rescue comes Liquid Plumr

 No need to go insane
When the sink is clogged again
The plunger's broke, what a bummer
To the rescue comes Liquid Plumr

Pain

It's like a ball of emotion clogged up in your throat
You try to fight it
Not let it out
Keep it in there for a little longer
Try no to think how good it would feel to release it
No matter how hard you try it comes gushing out
Through your eyes
Your mouth
And worst of all it throbs deep within your heart
