Guitar on fire
Blasting us with jazziness
Opening our horizons
Dragging us down in flames
Then revving us up and holding us in the air
Hostage to your strings
Guitar on fire
Showing the truth of our feelings
Dancing on the edge of the world
Showing our hearts your wild
Clarifying feelings we can show in no other way
We begin to dance

Many will see him as being another schnook,
perhaps questioning if he’s ever had a real job.
But in my mind I see an unpunished crook,
someone with possible connections to the mob.
Each day his cognizance needs clarifying,
but in his world he’s convinced he’s grooving.
He hesitates saying “if I’m lying I’m dying,”
because he typically is if his lips are moving.
You are all here to see
Do you believe
Our Lord is here and will never leave
Surprise
He made you wise
Richfulness
Gracefulness
Brave
We helped save
A path well laid
Lifted our faith
Clarifying walk
Helped gather our thoughts
Recalled
Our love stands tall
Through the tenderness of our cotton
Love shall never be forgotten
Gave back to our community
Showing love to charity
A gentle care
Order to share
Saw beauty beyond
Creating this song
So many things in life are concealed,
From secrets to questions we want revealed
Arduous our task,
These to unmask
So often hidden from view,
Answers but only clues
So we try to connect the dots,
To provide the right thought
As to the answers we seek,
Clarifying all that is mystique
Guilty so to we are,
Hiding what’s behind our scars
Our remedy is to keep them inside,
For the motivation they provide
Reminding not to regret again,
