Silently stormy shadows

dim the clamoring cries of
good-byes!

thoughts pounding
echoing loudly inside my brain
feelings hammering
clamoring tinges of this pain
a facade that slips
its anchoring clips
strength that's feigned
a tin heart, that's dangling from
a braided chain...

Love With Scent
Flowing freely your ebony hair
like the night sky
scattering fragrance

my heart clamoring in my chest
like a storm you triffle with it

your pristine glance
like a feast when you smile

my thoughts disturbed
my breath like opium
it drives me mad...

Premium Member In Winter
Stillness sweeps horizontally, then
Swells vertically. It is zero below
South wind meshes with north wind; it
Sends us clamoring for feathers of goose, we're
Secluded in layers. Closer and closer we seek
Somebody; a lover, next of kin, The Mighty Comforter.

During a many troubled times we see,
A few brave souls who dare to speak.
They have the courage to stand up tall.
To resist the crowds clamoring calls.
To not be silenced and just go along.
Now I shall leave you with this missive.
It takes the same courage to sit and listen....

Outer Circles
A fallow tree stump
ritualized by the empty
Bath of Salvation
creeping painfully as if
thrown by the wayside
The retort of schoolchildren
smoothed by the evenness
of taken innocence
Arisen from a fruitless slumber
Clamoring for the germane
but destined to be wholly
irrelevant...

Long languid days and sultry nights
Speckled starlight of unreachable heights
Spellbound and I but a traveler be
Cast asunder on a cosmic sea

No sail, no compass, and no course
Rendered helpless by this invisible force
My clamoring heart the only sound
Lost in love and destiny bound...

Whisper
When the world shouts
With exaggeration
Desperate for validation
Falsehoods infused in a sham of sound
Quiet the clamoring lies of

Speak truth to me

Pirates
Their ships must ride
a rolling sky,
masts too high to sail into view.

They appear, board the land,
they buccaneer.

The clamoring mob
fall upon a scuttling prey
pluck the weakest
into hungry holds.

An eye-aye cocked and ready,
they raid and maraud
as only
treasure seekers can.

The gulls are here
and for a while
sea and land broil.
the air erupting
with mutinous calls....

Meenie and Sullivan
Meenie was clamoring against higher prices of milk
My Sullivan hit a clinker he was not of that ilk
                                        Sullivan screeched a lot
                                        My Meenie shot her bolt
And both in revolt ate turnips artichokes and silk

Chaos Imprisoned
Cold dark and still as death
A place in my soul that I enslave
Thoughts so primitive, raw, and grave

Hold them back, never to see the light of day
For chaos would ensue

Clamoring to escape the bonds I’ve forged
Imprisoned forever in the deep

Hear them whisper in the night
Tempting me with ecstasy
Nay say I, never to embrace
Neither the wicked nor the damned
A price too high my soul to pay
Forever this is held at bay...

Premium Member A Heroes Welcome - For John
Flim Flam
the hero man
sold his story
and away he ran
From Hanoi to DC
before swamps could be drained
karma would catch him
and rot out his brain
But the damage was done
in the Great Halls of power
as his bombs of war
the whole world did scour
So what is now left
when the hero has faded
same as it was
a nation all jaded
Clamoring to praise
what was clearly a fool
a spoiled near despot
the ultimate tool.

Separate Lives
That Phil Collins 80's ballad,
Playing over in my head
Clamoring with thoughts of you and her,
And the sharing of your bed

Damn that thoughtful gift I'd sent,
Intent to helping you sleep better
But now, oh how alluring
The scent enticing her to enter

Your claim that "we have separate lives"
Permits your feelings true, to hinder
So, did you wash the bed sheets clean
Or does the lavender field still linger?

Conflicting Desires:
Arising in me
are the voices
of two different
worlds.

One calls for closeness_____
with
its rise of
passion and gentle decline.

The other calls for
distance
without voices clamoring
for attention.

Ears that are yet
weary of
human sounds
and physical closeness.

Distancing from vespers,
It calls up pain________
not understanding____to
weary to ask.

Just needing space
to heal,
Space that honors
what is!...

Form: I do not know?
Opened Windows Drenched By the Seas
My sexuality
Was like a hidden treasure
Hunted by the many pirates of the sea
All clamoring
to unlock the golden chest
Their keys had trouble
some to small,
some too long,
some to short,
some tried to pick with their fingers,
But one key held by the daughter of Adam and the son of Eve
Fit just perfectly
I was perplexed as to how I opened so freely
But I had no trouble,
Just release,
I came to see
The Climax of this
Story lie in me...

Silent Surrender
Silent surrender

A soft pitter patter of rain
Washes over silent sorrow
Pain in silence teaching
Tomorrows grace

Feet moving with the beat
Dancing in the subtle breeze
Defeat of the nights moon
Keys show the way

Sleep in comfort dreaming
Symbols awaken the mind
Gleaming bursts of intuition
Find meaning and purpose

Follow the path of the heart
Outside in the clamoring rain
Part ways with illusive time
Gain peace within the moment...
