Blind Birds Whistling

blind birds whistling
lustrous spring
vines clamber over
your closed window
great wall of peace
needles of time
migrate to south

Save Me

broad faced koala
like Jim Henson stitched muppet
stinky hugs clamber
wide eyed from home in gum tree
scared away by Aussie flames

Take Peak At Mccain Mystique

Take Peak At McCain Mystique

While we had been upon a tall peak,
Saw things that did seem so unique;
Had to clamber
For the glamor;
We were moved by McCain mystique.

Pennies

Pennies
They give us pennies for the years
we have spent
Everybody says to care
Cant wish away the tears
It was not hard to clamber
Speed the unconsecrated times
Seen so many chances fall from
clumsy hands
Glad to leave my youth
The river of us runs dry

Two Mountains

The clamber beat me up.?
I have to heel slide?
down a scree covered ravine -?
ignore the sweat of panic.?
?
There’s a large smooth boulder,?
I hug it?
slow my roll, ?
cling to a deeper breath.?
?
There are two mountains here,?
one under my feet,?
the other?
I brought with me.

Liar, Liar

Lies drip off my lips like honey.
Whilst the truth struggles to clamber up my airway.
It often gets stuck somewhere between my throat and my mouth.
Never to see the light of day.
Falsehoods come much easier.
They behave as my constant companions.
Support for my throne of fabrication,
Which teeters in the breeze.

A Dawn of Beauty

Amber - sunshine arises in the east
To clamber - to the top, fain to feel Mother Nature.
Lavender fragrance butter bees, butterflies, hummingbirds
With a splash of nectar that swirls round, farther
A calm pensive melody of breathless banter

At Christmas Eve They Gather

The sky alive as the world in glamour;
children's tiny cold bare feet they did sneak
underneath the Christmas tree they clamber.
The sky alive as the world in glamour;
huddle round the fireplace's warm ember,
songs, dance, and grandma's gingerbread they seek.
The sky alive as the world in glamour;
children's tiny cold bare feet they did sneak.

The One I Remember

You're the one I remember,
Whenever I am sombre:
Our group's unique member
Adored by a great number:
Our home town's full number...

You race to peaks, not clamber,
Reach goals fast after slumber
After beer: urine amber!
With your heel crushed a mamba...

One to watch from September
To Christmas' December
Which club would you dismember?
Not until a penumbra.

Laced Up Charm

Laced up charm of red bound black,

Entrapped in a moment that can’t come back,

It's Painted in souls, that's forever growth deep,

Then Split through two roads where the cross must now weep,

Clamber glass walls, bury broken nails,

Dig deep for a pirate to come set his sail,

As long as salt skin, touches loves cold calm sea,

The mind sees no cost, to a rough or calm me.

To the Sun-Lit Mead

Oh! I can’t my beloved, if you would!
Fly, or clamber to the sun-lit mead
In the jade heights of there, the eastern-woods;
We’d sprint to the upper cedars
And down to the gorge is grave;
Sit by the frozen snows
Stand ‘neath the white-cloud;
Recline over the tall turf, and mutely listen to the vale;
Talk to the dwelling shepherds,
Kiss, cuddle their she-sheep;
They serve us tea,
And shall smile, and would love.

Spring Forward

An extra hour of daylight bliss, I’ll watch the sunbeams gently kiss bright jaunty yellow daffodils which grow along the banks of rills I’ll clamber over wooden styles then walk the hills for many miles xanthic gorse adds such vibrancy and colours the land for all to see Written on an absolutely stunning spring morning ... We turned the clocks forward one hour last night 3/25/18

Rat Race

O squalling baby fat and red,
Laying on your nursery bed,
Clamber down onto the floor,
Crawl or toddle out the door.
Go to school. Graduate.
Take another for your mate.
Get a job and buy a home,
Raise a family of your own.
Save your money to retire,
Watch your grandkids and admire.
Now you're old and life is done,
Did you have a little fun?
O squalling baby fat and red,
You've just been born, and now...
You're dead.

Two Mountains

The clamber beats me up.
Now I have to heel slide
down a scree covered ravine
while trying to ignore the sweat of panic.

Half-way down
there’s a large smooth boulder,
I hug it
slow my breathing,
stop battling the mountainside.

Rock Ravens
circle a compass of warm air,
ascend and drop
with hardly a wingbeat.

It’s then I recall
that there are two mountains here,
one under my feet
the other
I brought with me
as a tower of doubt.

Floptopus

The time has come to write an epic
But I don't know the rules so it'll likely be desperate
The depth of my puddle is "cornflakes or nesquik?"
Adorn the morn with scorn forlorn except it
Sounds a bit forced.. generic, eclectic
Although benevolent with propensity for psychological pyrotechnics.
Too many beats in the verse 'less your mind's elastic
Clamber for rhymes but let's not get drastic
The fantastic monastic bombastic squid
Maneuvres his ink and shuts the laptop lid

Parodies

To affirm a show has made it,
More than ticket sales, the proof
Can be found if it is parodied
And pops up in a spoof.

For it’s fun to poke some fun at
Those performances so big
All the audience will recognize
The actor and the gig.

It’s the price of fame and fortune,
For success bestows the right
To exaggerate one’s attributes
And take a mocking bite.

While the viewers grin, the targets
Of the spoof have the last laugh,
For the public still will clamber
To receive their autograph.

Henry Dancing

Dancing with abandon
Is what children tend to do.
They bust their moves with untamed joy,
Their pride just beaming through.

Yet when self-consciousness begins,
They hold their true selves back
And spontaneity may never
Clamber back on track.

I love when Henry dances,
(He insists I join right in)
For no one watching can control
An ear to earlobe grin.

I dread the day embarrassment
Will rein in his delight,
‘Cause Henry’s dancing makes me feel
Like everything’s all right.
