Mother
Chromosomes imbibe,
The umbilical connection,
Heart to heart,
Soul to soul,
The love for the creation,
The love for the cradle of existence,
Mother!...

Equation of Love
In the equation of love
the man has an x less
the woman has an x more
       she has the final solution...
       he is the incognito problem......

With the faintest of clues
To bemuse and confuse

Perfect Match
A woeful young mermaid once sighed
'I shall never be anyone's bride!'
For to walk up the aisle
Would be oh, such a trial
Seems alas! to this rock I am tied!

A merman in search of a mate,
Said 'Darling, it's never too late
I'd be such a good catch
And our chromosomes match,
Though my sperm count is up for debate!

Premium Member Thankful For Our Home
May we be blessed to acknowledge all the wonders in our life
that have, for us, thus far accrued…
and to begin each day with a word of thanks…
and thoughts of gratitude.

Today I’m thankful for our house….
How over the years it has inherited our genes and chromosomes…
How gradually…
imperceptibly
it became part of our family
It became…
our home...

Canis Minor's Orphaned Sucamus
Part man part creature this spirit, fallen, from her skies..
Nineteen fifty-nine an expedition discovering His child floating
Gallantly down Love's reinish river ? Wrapped in a cloth of many colours
Black pearl eyes gazing past her wickers wedge; by and by beloved, their baby....
Mixed metaphors prodigical doors; chromosomes xxyz ? Part man part creature; Spirits....

The cell is undergoing mitosis. Spindle fibers pull the chromosomes away toward the poles of two daughter cells. A black widow spider with an hourglass on its back doesn’t seem to scare the porcelain doll at the spinning wheel. The stationary figure shows no emotion as the sands of time accumulate at the bottom. The process will soon start all over again.

Life Is a Joke We Are Playing On Ourselves
Nobody tells you
Life is a joke

Sitting in somber pews
Re(hearsing) gregorian chants
Then back to in-family dance
One day off to school
We learn how the world is ruled

Dont step out of line
Get it on budget, in time

Why so serious face?
Has science figured it out?
Chromosomes in the dark
Aliens and DNA
The myths we tell ourselves
Right from the start
Always forgetting
Life is a joke
We are playing on ourselves...

Premium Member Perfect Imperfection
His chromosomes are misaligned,
He cannot call his mothers name.
He sees the beauty of his own world.

But his smile is full of love,
He dimples break your heart.
He reaches for love with confidence.

He will clap his little hands,
With a soft and radiant delight.
He lives with a quiet abandon.

He will never be the President,
Or know the daily stress of life.
Sweet purity is his greatest gift.

He is a diamond in the rough....

Future
>b>and this bizarre possibility
what does the future present to us?
we can break calendars,
I thought.
shedding skin like snakes,
we can shine dark
lighting up the chromosomes that we are.
we can create our avatars,
surpass ourselves,
become the effigies that will replace us
containing the courage we lost
when we shamefully weaken,
when we definitely walked away
of what we could become
when we accept to be
merely the humans we are...

Can You Guess
Home! Home!
Is where I'd rather be.
Deep in the inner parts of the earth is where
You will find me.
I am a magical fellow who is about five inches
Tall
Moving through solid earth as if it were nothing
At all.
As far as predicting the weather I've never
Made a bad call.
One more thing. I can smell way better than
Any thing that can see.
They say it must have some thing to do with my
Chromosomes.
Did you guess what I am? Aw! Shucks folks. I
Am a Gnome....
