hush, the garden is asleep
a blanket of snow

Christmas Bells

I woke to such a mighty peal
And asked the vicar: “ What’s the deal?
I think it’s best
To let me rest.
With PEACE on earth, goodwill to men!”

Christmas bells ring
the angels sing
a child is born today
swaddled in hay

May happiness be
in all you see
may your spirits be bright
celebrate in delight

Joyful is the season
Lord is the reason
Celebrate his birth
with love and mirth.

Merry Christmas to all.
Best wishes for the new year. phyl

Christmas Memories

Christmas bells
	cast their spells...
		teardrop wells.

From their sound
	past years bound...
		still renowned.

Precious then
	way back when...
		missed again.

Days slip by like shadows, Yet, I feel no sorrow. I think back on happy times. Childhood ,meant wonder. Storms, meant there'd be thunder and Christmas bells sang sweet chimes. Then I had to mature and find that I'm not sure, if those shadows are still mine?

Its Christmas time again
Making hot chocolate - reading Christmas stories

The windows is lit up with fairy lights
The spirit of Christmas is in the air

We light the candles in dark corners
Waiting to hear the Christmas bells

To believe in magic and love is all I want
And thank you Christmas angels

CHRISTMAS EVE

riding the wind
a thousand christmas bells
swirl city corners
custom country steeples
ring round my splintery old pew

in a ponderous quiet
on this hallowed eve
i’m forgetting the dreary
remembering those hundred candles
mother singing oh holy night

christmas eve
no snow
torrents of rain
santa comes round
in a pontoon plane

Christmas Bells

A heart can freeze much colder than ice

Trolls stand at guard to extract a heavy price

Witches and Goblins rejoice in their soul stealin'

Under such torment one finds nothing appealing

There is only one thing that is known to Mankind

That can get you out of this most terrible grind

It melts the heart and banishes the spells

What is this one thing

Tis' Christmas Bells

Christmas brings all kinds of things Happiness for starters and Christmas bells Ringing loud make us want to sing It also brings great smells Smells of pumpkin, cinnamon and spice; Turkey, rolls, corn pudding, dressing done so well Most of all this birthday of a child; Jesus Christ And what it means to believe in him; we’ll tell Stories of his life.
