Premium Member Morning Mind
*3 haikus*

I am enjoying
this dull time - this decayed life
of extinguished hopes

Each sublime sunrise
finds my morning mind childishly
wishing for freedom

If wishes had power
If young tears were a vaccine
If our thoughts mattered...

Clearly Weak
You can’t admit wrong
And always blame me
Act as though strong
when clearly weak
Rage and shout
childishly
Create the scenes
disrupt the peace
Paranoid
think you’re headstrong
Easily annoyed
turn red and strop
No one can tell you you’re the problem
You’re emotional hell that doesn’t stop...

The Forbidden Apple.
Like a scaly, slithering, serpent
You sneak your way back into my life.
Trying childishly to coaxingly, communicate
one more time.

I will listen to your tales told.
I will not be pulled in.
I am that not naive.
I’m numb.
I know the hateful and horrible things you do.
Afterall, look what you did to Eve....

Lover's Kite (Duo-Rhyme)
A multi-colored lover’s kite-
the type that tickles souls of light,
soaring high, up into the sky
imitating birds that glide by
with unconcerned wind. Oh, kite, fly
fly and fly and watch pink smiles lie
on earth, with scent of chamomile
pampering, childishly, the sigh-
of glade’s noonday erotic rite,
so perfect, for my lover’s sight!...

Tear
It saunters down a cheek,
its trail dying
before its meaning

It settles before
a meticulous cut...
and drips

It wastes a tensive strength
and weaves a string
One end tied to nothing
but pent up

It guides
itself further south
to no ending
but still drips

Chills compete
and rainfall freezes,
And yet, it childishly calls itself
a tear...

A Red Eyed Cop To a Driver
So, why didn’t you stop
After seeing a red-eyed cop
You know could ask you to hurriedly drop
And have you childishly begin to hop
Or ludicrously bop
To still hard blows wire to your face while on top
And angrier, like gilled corn, pop!
A prelude to making you some grimy floor mop
Or in a nearby farm start planting a crop,
Retaining this over coat that does make you a fop?...

Premium Member The Refuge
Absorbed by art and poetry,he finds
The commonplace childishly surreal
Living life at one stage removed, perhaps
Old age,a wonderland apart from youth;
Out of touch ,of this world, and yet is not,
An audience to a non-stop revue
In which common sense is no more a part,
Into a world of verse,each day departs;
A place of images,imagination,words,
Separate,alone,truly at home,but not apart....

Thought Id Share My Twisted Sense of Humour
Seen on a dirty unwashed white van today

Something that which did make me LoL

Right up my street

My kind of sense of humour

Someone had wrote this classic piece of finger art on the back

And on this his van was not written

Wash me

But rather appropriately

Also comes in White

Which tickled my funny bone no end

I almost fell off my bike

Because i have a childishly sense of humour...

Felucca Dreams
drifting
drifting off
to sleep

going down
the Nile
once

when now
it seems
i was

a child and
childishly
these

dreams
were
real

never making it
to Luxor at least
by boat because

a wall of wonderment
was approaching
from the north

and as so suggested
docking and battening
down the hatches

before going below
i looked up to see
the only sandstorm

i've ever seen
but it blasted
my mind into

a glass
memory...

One Summer Day
I want to muse—
without
wearing eye-glasses, but
urge my pen for words that guide
to sea of love. Sun makes

her lips fiery, we sip
the day,
swallow it, childishly! Hmm, Nitz’s heart
pumps out breath, holding our souls

like victims for ransom. Ah,
etching our aliases in the sudor like wine
on the lustful spread of green, I

look for the cheerful shadow
of sky, as we dress our minds

with chrysanthemum of a summer day....

Daddy Doesn'T Know
D’you enjoy the rhyme-
the name game o’ my soul
as it dances, childishly
in the crazy rain?

D’you hear the call-
the craving
o’ my word, as it cries out loud
across the road?

D’you feel the touch-
the lonely tears
o’ a poem as it runs down the night
wanting to be dried, by you?

If-
all these concern you,
why haven’t
you return the thousand rings I made?

Come, O come home soon
dearest mommy o’ mine
‘cos Daddy doesn’t know-
how to sing sweet lullabies o’ thine!...
