Premium Member Mellow Yellow
They called me Mellow Yellow
Way back in the day we used CBs*
To say hello.

We were as anonymous as could be
Emboldened by CB talking
With those we never would see.

Style of Political Profile
Style of Political Profile

We were sure of what would be their style,
And knew what had been political profile;

Not For Contest Make It Seven
I built a model car like this except there was glue all over it
This contest asks for ABBaCCA, CBS or NBC
They are all news stations to me
ABB just means they missed the C, that would be ABC news

Is like AAA they will tow you anywhere
Have I passed the test may I join this contest?

Vet's Suicides
The latest survey
eighty suicides per day
by our Veterans

Such a big disgrace
CBS investigates
this whole cover up

These folks fought for us
no one's taking care of them
they would rather die

Someone should be held
accountable for each one
who takes his own life

If they had something
that they could look forward to
they won't want to die

There's hope in Jesus
message needs to go across
that bad times don't last...

Anchors Without Rancour
Anchors without rancour are rare today.
They don’t just report rumors, they dissect some.
Men like Brinkley and Huntley, anchors aweigh,
anchors without rancour.

They steer clear of party-lines with no humdrum.
No newshawk floored CBS such a long stay
as Walter Cronkite whose candor ranks as plumb.

War correspondents, like Murrow kept at bay
and cleared away critics like so much pond scum.
Mark Levin at FOX deals much in the same way -
anchors without rancour....
