Slow Down

Watch how you go
Try to go slow
You don't know what's around the bend.
If you travel too fast
You won't last
Time will catch up with you at life's end

Lost

Lies may cover a thousand miles
Truths will catch up with just a mile-
'They say'

So I run,
I run miles-
Everyday, weeks, months
Years.

A moment to breathe
And I wonder
Where am I?

Mooreeffoc

Tiresomely drinking coffee in the black mirror I wonder if I will ever catch up with this world

Good and Ready

I looked above the other day.
I know that I am good and ready for a change.
Why can’t I catch up with life?
It’s getting ahead of me.
I run like the wind, as it chases the brownest leaves on the trees.
Where can I turn?

Responsibility

Take responsibility
And get things done
Stop talking about doing things
Or else, procrastination will catch up with you in the long run
Good thoughts and words
Only mean so much
They do not say how you feel
Eventually, you will lose touch

A part of me

A part of me wants to be
With my family to take care-
Of them and lead the responsibilities-
Which needs to be fulfilled.

A part of me wants to be
In solitude to catch up with-
My goals and have an identity of my own-
Without care about today’s society.

MY LIFE AT 43

STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE AND TRYING TO PLAY CATCH-UP WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE MISSED.
AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE, I HAVE LIVED AND EXPERIENCED MORE THAN WHAT A NORMAL PERSON GOES THROUGH IN THEIR WHOLE LIFE.

I FEEL I HAVE MORE LIVES THAN A CAT, ON ABOUT MY 6TH LIFE RIGHT NOW.

(: Smile :)

I have never run or walked away.
But now my SMILE has flown astray.
I will have to fly and catch up with it.
As we all know there is no limit.
To where we all will get to go.
Oh my god I love the snow.
There it is I am so near.
I fibbed i never lost it I have it here :)

Age

Age is not just a number, it length, space, gap, life and all. I might have to run so much distance to catch up with someone in the process I lose sight of me. You don't need to run after someone else's distance. You need walk your path.
You will run a lot without catching a breath.

Something To Think About

God was in the begining,
When the begining began to
begin.
Now if your waiting on god to
finish something, don't forget,
even time is waiting on god.
For what god is working on,
is already complete and time is
waiting to catch up with it.
Think about it.
The End

Look Again

Next time you look back, look again:
it's only a ghost that's still chasing you.
Let it pass through your body so helplessly.
It's only a ghost, you can't feel its touch.

When you've looked again, don't turn back.
That ghost is the breath of a memory.
Don't let it catch up with your sanity
or you'll end up just chasing the past.

The Lyric's Unborn

The music trying to catch up with itself
as I sit here in the dark
—a figment of a lost dimension
—a remnant of some other duality
This place becoming a steppingstone
to what is now already gone
and the melody so close, so distant, and so far,
passing through itself to what might have been

Band Stand Strand

Band Stand Strand

Called the poignant poet grand stand Strand;
His poems had been the best of all the land;
Mine are inept;
Comments he won't accept;
So all of this I am still trying to understand.

Guess having to respond to comments takes
up time you could be using to create more
poems. I might catch up with him someday.

Love Getting Off Work At Three

today we teachers got out at three
I jumped for joy
Because we usually get out at four-thirty-five
When the worst craziest drivers think they are contenders
for the Indianapolis 500
Days I have to hang on to my steering wheel
With stiff fingers
Clenching my teeth
Swearing a stream of mean words
Terrified some idiot driver will catch up with me

Ghoulish Moon

Ghoulish moon

Veiled behind clouds of dark night,
struggling to catch up with the breeze,
Ghoulish moon draped in serene white,
rolled fast to bewilder with its dazzle !

I Dare You

I DARE YOU

Meet me at the downside of the low valleys
If you aren't scared of adventure
Catch up with me at the peak of the hills
If you aren't lazy as I think.
Dive with me, let's pick the corals from the sea bed
If you can beat the fishes.
Pace up with me if you think u can
Let's hold the tail of the racing horse.
I dare you

I Give My All

I’m getting one day older and one step closer.
I feel at times my life is coming to an end.
I can’t catch up with the world. Everything seems so fast and temporary.
I long to belong. Why am I not being accepted?
I give my all. But still, the world eats me up and spits me out.
Like a ran over carcass, left on the side of the road to rot and decay with time.

My Life Is Like a Hamster

As I sit here
Starring out of my bedroom window
I start to think
That my life is like a hamster wheel
Always on the go never settle down
Ever where I go
My Heart ache always
Catch up with me
I'm so tired of feeling blue
I'm so tired of these tears that fall from my eyes
All I ever want is to be loved and held by someone
Instead of those one night stands..

The Right Love

Looking for the right love.
Searching the crowd.
I thought I saw him.
Did I see him?
Running through the crowd.
Hoping to catch up with him.
Running into destinies open arms.
Turning around, your eyes meet mine.
Is he the right one?
The look in his eyes are clear.
Is this the right love?
Is this the one?
Yes or No?
The right love is standing in front of me!

Shadows of Time

Time is lost in a dark hole,
shadows of time looks below
darkness of space before me
as I look onto the bare sea.

As I feel the sea air
and the moon that brings on a glare
I wonder where time has gone
how memories are remembered in a song.

Night as time will fall,
when it's over, it won't matter at all,
the night time of the past
will catch up with me at last.

Distancing Myself

Don't drag me into the tactical
scheming games you play,
for I do not want involvement
not in any little way.
Try if you dare, and you will see
there's no way to get one over on me,
as I will not entertain or rise to the bait;
karma will catch up with you to decide your fate.
While I carry on not caring one bit what you do,
distancing myself from malicious people like you.

Goose Stepping

I'm falling too far behind,
Out of breath and flying blind.
Heavy fog, it's hard to see,
But know the flock's in front of me.

Just striving to do my best,
Gotta catch up with the rest
So surprised I've flown this far,
Now up ahead, there they are!

Landing on a Chrystal lake,
Feel my mind and body ache.
Safe ashore and now we're prepping,
For waddling and goose-stepping.

You

I always knew You would catch up with me in the end
no matter how fast I was running, how far down I stumbled
or how deep the vortex, I spiraled down in
You were right there on my tail
looking over my shoulder
there was never a hurdle, I couldn't jump
never a ladder I couldn't climb
never a strait, that I couldn't swim
a thought, a feeling, each blessing coming my way
without You
