Soft the morning comes
    steals into my hushed room...

  Nay! Glorious child of God!
    in Majesty's thrall

  Fling wide the casements
      ~ Roll call...

Premium Member Heart Sealed Tight
The portal to my heart
  sealed ever-so-tight
Iron casements held fast
  'gainst tempest's stormy night

How did it happen
  Did the wind blow her in
Joy for ages unfelt, unseen
  True love, where have you been...

Knitting the Brume
Light streams manipulate vaporous violin strings
meandering about open casements;
flantando melodies float, dream bridged sighs.
At table, coffee steam rises, knitting the brume,
hooding her sorrow pricked eyes.

When morning light squeaks through vanes
of wood casements and panes,
when eyes glued shut from night's fears
open wide to mornings clear,
then in the corners of my mind
thoughts of you rush forth to find
soft smiles, open arms, a warm heart.
Know..I've loved you from the start....

Complete the Lines
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you
Wake up my love it seems to whisper
Breathe in my celestial fragrance
Which I stole before it was light
From your treasured jasmine
Wafting your casements to share with all.

Premium Member Cracked But Not Broken
When the morning light,squeaks through the vanes;
of wooden casements and windowpanes.

When eyes glued shut,from night time fears,
are opened wanly to mornings clear.

That’s when in the corners of my mind,
thoughts of you rush forth to find;

Soft smiles, open arms and a warm heart,
You know I’ve loved you from the start....

Upon the Windowsill
My plants upon the windowsill
Start dancing in delight
When I open up the windows,
Even if the breeze is slight.

In summertime, quite often,
I must keep those casements closed
So to outside air their leaves and buds
Are sometimes not exposed.

If it’s not too hot, I much prefer
A fan to the A/C;
Judging from my plants’ reactions,
I think they agree with me....

Intimacy.
In a casket of intimacy
Some secrets are locked
Tender for discerning eye
A bitter look of indifference
All shades in delicate cast.

Pearls filled in sunlit casements
Deep wandering stored in sky
Memories of embraced in arms
Hands still holding a touch of life.

Dusty corners there are
Nooks cornered in precious loss
Horizons left now of futile byways
Traced by fingers of some icy frost....
