Cant Get Over That

My name bestowed upon
      me, is not me!
  It's my parents' label.
A wrist band immutable.

Must life really change
       Perhaps words just rearrange

i cant breathe

You hate her
Because you don't .
Sing,
Let me hear.
Release your fists
hold onto me
I'll guide us to somewhere
We can breathe.

Cant Say Anything

I cant say anything that can help this feeling.
The regret .
The Pain.
But the thought is... I would rather hurt then feel nothing at all.

Premium Member The Owl, Sipping Port in His Study

The owl, sipping port in his study,
Perusing philosophy muddy,
Proclaimed “Kant is cant,
And read more I shan’t,
I well know a fowl fuddy-duddy!”

It's You

I think of you with every breath I take.

My every breath is a thought of you.

  . . . and it’s not the air everywhere,

It’s you I breathe; it’s You.

Premium Member Why Cant They See You Grandma

the others were sobbing
wailing they were alone now
Shelly took grandma and her teddy bears to swing
why can’t they see you Grandma?
Death separates the nonbelievers she replied

To a Friend "when It Cant Get Worse"

and as a tear falls from the eye
never is the last goodbye
as open hearts fold closed at last
remember always happy past
'till tomorrow sun has risen
all is well
all is forgiven

Why Cant You See What You Mean To Me

Why cant you see what you mean to me?
Hair of black, brown eyes
you will be my demise
"there'll be others" I say everyday
"Its not like he notices me anyway"
Yet I cant seem to stay away.

Why

If we stayed in this dream forever, how could we ever wake back up?
We would end up prisoners in a nightmare;
Love would never allow that to happen!
Maybe thats why we cant stay....

Premium Member Free Pizza Cant Be Right

A free pizza was left on the doorstep of Billy Dew.
Who would do that? He asked, but no one knew.
I can’t eat it, he said, it might not be right.
That changed immediately after he took one bite.

I Cant Wait Rhymes

My future will be so bright
Don’t get me wrong get me right
I know that I have my dreams
Not those I have by night
And because I’m willing to fight
I’m sure I will get it right.
And that is why I can’t wait.

I Cant Write

I can’t write
I’ve got no rhyme
I can’t even do this poem
Even though I have the time
Stupid writers block
I know what might help.
Sunshine
Whoops, it’s too late
Coconut moon doesn’t make my mind
Take the bait

Premium Member Why Cant I see You

Where Are You

Purple grass waves in the gentle breeze
Violet leaves live on the tall tree
White laced ivy inter-twines
Light blue skies are devine
Puffy clouds float by
This field of rye
Why can’t I
See you
Here

Cant Keep Me In

These four walls cant keep me in
Soon I'll be away for good
You can try to stop me
But it'll only be a delay

These four walls cant keep me in
My freedom awaits to be grasped
You cant hold me back
I'll get away one day

i am hate, as i cant be calm poet

Asn’t
To learn of in your tomb
When we won?
When did you?
As my family mastered speech
You still cant!
Because we said so, so?
Diplomacy is ours
And your?
Whom’s
Not our’s, the oar’s
In the dead, they have liberty

Cancer Cant Take Soul

Your bald raw beauty.
On my way to the barber.
To be as stunning.

Cancer took your breast away.
Yet your heart remains so sweet.

Premium Member Can Or Cant

We practice what we believe,
else others we deceive-
His lambs to tend
each road we wend,
His sheep to feed
helping every need.
Available for all
who hear His knock or call-
We practice what we believe,
else others we deceive.

We Cant Be Together

Sorry its not you its me
Your perfect
Your everything that I want
I can see myself with you
I really can
Its just that I nolonger trust men
I want to be along
There's no such thing as love
Or trust
I like you I do
Its just I have trust issues

Cant Quite Say It

I can't tell you now.
At least not for a while.
Maybe in a year, or two.
When we'll forget each other.
But not now.
I'm too scared.
To tell you that I like you.
I can't. Not now.
Even when I'm seconds away from saying it.
I can't quite do it.

Im as free as a bird, but i cant seem to fly

Im free as a bird,
But i cant seem to fly...
Taking off is tiring,
Yet i am still trying...
I am still deciding
If i should take off,
Or if i should stay,
Forever wanting
Forever needing,
Just a little bit more
Than what my soul aches for...

Baby I Cant Forget You

Baby I can’t forget your face
Baby I can’t forget your grace.

Baby I can’t forget your smiles
I can’t forget your sexy styles.

Baby I can’t forget your eyes
I can’t forget our fruitless tries.

Baby it’s just cause and effect
We are like iron and magnet.

Cant Get To Him

he whispers incessantly
i know your lies
black slick oil of your wants
you better keep me in here
or i will sell you out
words that bend and break you
atop hills i will shout
i create
fears that scrawl you
from a sweated fever
our screams so alike

I Cant Be Held Down

I am nothing without something,
to stand me up for i will fall.
i am everything you need,
but everything you cant have.
I am a friend to many an enemy to few,
and a tranquil to most.
do you know what i am?
im confused, im restless, and i cant be held down.
