love and affection is beyond all definitions and words .true love comes from our inner soul .it is blind . only can feel the affection and love .here beauty or physical appearance is zero or unimportant .yes.i do not consider cancer here as an important .i stress on the real and true meaning of love and affection . perhaps she may be only a body with dying soul .true love never consider ,beauty ,health or wealth and sex .it is so magical .brilliant concept .thank you for sharing .GOD bless you

This definitely leaves an impact, Elliot! I really like how you showed the support and love here-- shaving one's head in support of a person with cancer. And yes, what's important is what's inside--the heart. Beautiful tanka! :D
