Mars
A red planet of cheese…wow!..
we could shoot the breeze together,
while sinking to our knees, in the red
sand dune brie, or interstellar camembert

Tease!!??.. me never..let’s take the space
elevator at four..pack your things…off we
shoot! Gruyere and cheddar what a hoot!...

observing the pageantry of incandescent stars
reflected through halo’s fervid laughter and love.

I drink merrily as thud of whipped delirium
hammers excruciating pain  off  on, from my brain;
Veiling the limited instances of life’s ungodly time
That I cradle within--- this mute, unsaid goodbye.

Reciprocation
The old man peers at his photograph ,

“Smile !  – Say cheese “ , says the photographer ,
The youngster murmurs , blandly , "Camembert"
And looks intently at the camera ,
The moment made eternal with a click.

The man looks at the image of his past ;
His image looks back ,from the page.
He sees the picture of his long ago.
The image views its future through a lens....
