Fresh
I’m thankful.
For this brutally honest
raw
painful
buMp in the road.
I am happier than I’ve ever been.
Freed from your poisonous nature.
Feeling joy again. New.
Fresh, like a start.
Healing, for the heart....

What Is Life?
Is it an empty hole leading to no where?
Just remember your loved by everyone
So just because one thing mite happen wrong
Doesn't mean your life is wrong
Your life is just hitting a bump in the road
your life is just beginning
Go out and live it!...

Warm and Willowy
A love warm and willowy
My song is my soliloquy
Will we ever get past this bump in the road
Soft, we sail across the sea
Of puny pale apologies

And wondered whether to fly or walk for a bit

But on reflection in a nearby puddle she feared

That piloerection was more than a natural reflex

Turned her back to the kind obstacle and honked

Gathered her fledglings and carefully retreated

It is Christmas soon and they might mistake me

For a turkey and the path leads to the slaughter

Tantamount
To you I'm a number
A census head count
A baseline, statistic
Not special
Tantamount
A blip on a radar
A bump in the road
I'm just human traffic
A bipedal drone
I'm only a age range
A line on a graph
A check with a Bic pen
A dot on a map
I want you see me
Know who I am
That I breathe,
That I'm tangible
Just touch me again
Show me you want me
Tell me I count
Not one of the masses
Not common
Tantamount...
