Leaves At My Feet
Yellowed, yesterday's news.
Summer printed.
Quick browsed of the busy winds.
Quick discarded....

The Answer
When questioned,
about my love for you,
I looked in the dictionary,
for words to say how much.
Then browsed the internet,
to find a better expression.
Outside, I saw couples
hugging, or kissing.
All around,
I saw proof of love,
but not until
your arms encircled me,
did I find the answer....

Ps:“The knocker (aldravia)is six word verses. It is not a sentence, it is a word on every line. You have to put the maximum amount of poetry with the minimum amount of words”. The style of poetry was born a little over ten years ago in Mariana, one of the historic cities of Minas Gerais. 2014...

I Googled
I googled peace
to get the feel of how
she fared
and
found her fight her
roughened way into
men's bosoms and
fortresses
and shuttle back

between heaven
and
heavy hearts

and then…
and then I browsed
for war
and with a gaping eye
I watched
the endless edging of a khaki
garb
and Oh the omnipresence...

I Browsed the Notes
I browsed the notes
of the past two years
in search of you
once keen and common;
There I found all
I thought was gone,
lost on way up
or sank in sorrow
for how things turned.
And if I learned
anything new -
not much, just few
remarks, amiss and race.
As birthday gift I got your face:
totally stoned, from late '90s.
On canvas.
Never asked for this.

I do not know?
Spending Time
Scattered shattered shards of mirrors
Sparkle in dissipating smoke
A hungry hawk crisscrosses the darkening field
Searching for supper in the dead winter weeds
A single cloud caught in lower winds
speeds across the slower mass above
To disappear like some magic trick
Directly in front of the setting sun.
Last night four deer browsed beside us
We wait patiently sipping the last flute
Three each per sunset and no hurry
This is our time....

The Need
The dog barked ,
and its puppies yelped,
I was raised,
mulling my eyes,
I got out,
something was definitely wrong,
the winter bit in my bed clothes,
and crapped through legs deep in,
shaking my head,
to drop the drowse,
I began to look for my glasses,
and frantically browsed,
getting them on table,
I put them on,
and went to the door,
cranking it ajar,
I stepped to the kennel,
only to find,
that nothing was wrong,
the canine family,
simply needed more of flannel....
