Notice me, love me,
Give me a sweet treat to eat

There once was a lion named Brian
Who really just wouldn’t stop cryin’
He had a sore tummy
And wanted his mummy
The whole thing was really quite trying.

Brian bared his bare buttocks because Barry his buddy bought him a beer and bet him his bare buttocks to bare. The Bobby on beat was not into bribes, He

Brian, poet inspirational
With the words and knowledge of Aristotle
And the endurance of Job, above all
In the bonnie country, UK's drawl
With the grace of Lauren Bacall
For Brian's contest eap, thanks for all the inspirational contests!!
Three cheers for the bard,Brian Strand
The busiest judge in the land.
He'd carefully read
Appraising with speed
And then one more contest he planned!
Thank you so much for the time and effort you have invested over so many years, Brian.

Brian Williams Broadcaster
Always knew Williams first name is Brian;
Best broadcaster on air and no denying;
Both you and me,
Never miss MSNBC;
Expose Trump how hard is always trying.

Your album cover
Anything for a Laugh
seems candlelight lit
arched churchways
and smoke from village Chimneys
sepia daybreak
angel clouds jettisoning
with yellow filter
You died in Newcastle
broken by the rain,
only one album
and a few credits
cherished by a few
For the Poet Laurette contest by Brian Strand(this one was a real challenge)
Poetaster am I, award unworthy,
Gratitude given to the great state
Whose honor did bestow me
Acceptance gladly and thankfully recieved
Hail Georgia!
This is the Vignette form of narrative.
I play a movie of you in my head
like a memory book
of your smiling face
of your kind words
and all that I could possibly imagine
It didn't always seem real
but it is
it really is
I know you inside and out
a special gift I'm privaleged with
Even when you worry me
I know you'll always come back around
same as always
and I know
this will be the best friendship ever
Let me say a meter is several lines refined
And each has a rhythm of a particular kind
So we must carefully measure the words in each line
For each one to dance to the fine tune of time.
I’m trying to describe or define
A meter you may eventually have to find
I know all this as taught by Brian
I’d like you to meet him, he’s a friend of mine.

Brian is "Just someone who cares" 1
Responsible about his thoughts; writing
In compelling words, and he shares
All his knowledge if asked; his answers are inviting
Now he also believes, music will "dispel my disquieting thoughts"

Mr. Brian
You stun
Mr. strand
You stand
you judge
never misjudge
your poems
are gems
My rhymes
at times
are lame
and shame
you chime
all time
at whom
my boom
Aroze
with rose
words flow
it's no
done correct
you select
you read
indeed
too much
no catch
always stoic
no trick
will miss
your bliss.

Look at Brian the badger
Slinking through the grass
Sleeping Susan rabbit
Doesn't see him pass.
Hunting for his breakfast
Every single night
Brian's not very fussy
He simply wants a bite.
Finds a broken ladder,
Scratches on a rung,
At last he finds some breakfast
He licks it with his tongue!
Did that make you hungry?
Is this story real?
I guess you're looking forward
To tomorrow's meal?

It is hard for me
To forget thee
For it's you I love
My very precious dove.
God be willing to grant
Your love that I want
May you too love me
As I love thee.
Dreaming of you every night
I wish I have your love tonight
Sleeping without thinking of you
That my dear, I will never do.
For thinking of you put essence in my life
That is full of heartache and strife
But you and I can't be one
For you have already a loved one.
