Born From Love

We are made from love,
 held with love
 grow with love.
So why do we get
 brainwashed to hate.
teach your children
that there still is much love

Religion

Venom prayers cause deadly stares,
Majestic temples but nobody cares,
Preaching martyrs on past glories,
Brainwashed children from embellished stories,

A Brand New Screw

What Don said to Joseph was true
though the brainwashed won't see that view
they will keep the old man
as long as they can
then send in a brand new screw.

ruined by Trump TV

his infantine fit was funny to see
coming out of a usually reserved Mr. Lee
he had been brainwashed by Trump TV
subliminal clips that ruined our friend Mr. Lee

Rope Is Not the Snake

brainwashed we float
aimlessly adrift
in a sinking boat
wasting life’s gift

conditioned belief
in bondage to ritual
how’ll we turn a new leaf
living a life virtual

Maelstrom

in the modern world we have been hurled, the maelstrom is inside us, the greed of rich do cast their pitch, the feathers can't abide much. tarred and feathered, brainwashed for 2 blind us.... of: Kerry Singleton-s "Revelation" Don Johnson

Brainwashed Thinking

Are we thinking, about money
or do we think, about honey

Are we thinking, about our health
or do we think, about our wealth

Are we thinking, of the needy
or do we think, for the greedy

Are we thinking, for all life
or do we think, just for your own life

The Masses

The brainwashed masses,
Wearing rose-colored glasses,
And nonchalantly flashing passes,
Never realizing the hourglasses
Are running out of time.

Miasmic shadows
And dystopian blows
Are working to transpose
The masses' crystal rose
Into a thick unending slime.

If You Want Equality

All life, should not be desperate
All life, should not be manipulated
All life, should not be brainwashed

If you want, all life, to have quality
If you want, all life, to have peace
If you want, all life, to have equality

Then all life, has to, get rid of MONEY

We R Praying For Them

palings of a stockade
looking out for death
dislocation of aggression
under estimating the brutality
of wars we cry helpless
majority of democracy
brainwashed by the cruel
minority clamouring for
power to wipe out the
security of thoughts
we are praying for
them now here
on three legs
fasting

Not All Poets

Not all poets write of love
some of war the trees buzzing bees
 also that goverment
 we are brainwashed too trust
 tv programes children adictive
see poetry isnt just about love
for a poet passion writing is their
LOVE telling a story whatever the write,
 the reader paints a picture
of the words they have read.

Your Sickness

Where's the zeal in being a zealot?
Single minded entities always
Forcing, pushing, constantly attack.
Keep your sick. altered, mechanistic
Ideals far away from me.

Thanks but no, I can think for myself,
No need for your help
Feels like the Crusades- believe or die
Look and see I’ll never be
Your brainwashed puppet

Son of a Butcher

Knives fly
cows and chickens die
new world translations
morality always a test
abandoned sons
the fathers crimes exposed
cursed by a closed mind
brainwashed
by voices in the sky
mathematics
begin to multiply
only then
will fathers repent
and children rejoice
animals roam free
all the living
have precious souls

Dogs of S Poor-Division Is Unholy

sanguine pillars of
fabricated strength
leaning on the altar
of gregarious breath
brown dogs are drinking
pages of history written
by the winners of deceit
division is unholy
they are the masters
turning people into enemies
race cast creed color and we
are brainwashed methodically
dogs here are too smart
for those sugar coated
poison

Political Question-Answer

Question:
What is more dangerous than
private citizens
owning high powered artillery weapons,
which unfortunately do kill the occasional innocents?

*

Answer:
Not possessing such weapons
for our own protection
against a corrupt president
who can overthrow our nation,
which by the way has been happening
since 9/11,
but everyone is too brainwashed to research the evidence.

I Have

Have you ever been brainwashed

I have

Have you ever cried so hard you were in pain

I have

Have you ever felt unsafe where you should feel the safest

I have

Life is different now

Do you ever feel like someone finally understands you

I do

Do you ever feel your life's going in the right direction

I do

Do you ever feel you shouldn't be any other place in the world

I do

Religious fundamentalism

Conditioned since birth to follow a belief,
brainwashed souls thrust upon all others their view,
urging them to join their cult to get relief
from suffering by paying to god their due,
atoning for sin by turning a new leaf,
that by doing so, they sense divine light’s hue.
Caught in ego’s bind, the blind thus lead the blind,
sparking fear in hearts of those who’re disinclined.

childhood

was it really that big of a deal
if we were both just kids
our minds snapped shut like lids
brainwashed by whats bad and good
too scared to come out with the truth
nothing ever came smooth
these thoughts
these anxieties
they only get worse
i needed someone to soothe me
im just a little girl
please stop touching me like that
i dont like it
im tired of playing this game

Brainwashism

Desensitized
from the world'd murky underbelly
self mutilate your soul
free your mind
serve the masses to the wolves
controlled by greedy mercenaries
hungry for power
society corrupted by corporate logos
brainwashed to purchase the goods
materialism to the very core
money equals power
equals corruption
billions spent on warfare
kill to make that green
evil has no borders

Evil Hides In Sight

Evil hides behind a suit; perfectly dressed and coiffed it’s a pretty display that covers much rot. Its hate and greed are obvious reads but, often mis-interpreted by the desperate. Evil has its party; serving sour hors d’oeuvres to its guests; by the time they leave, they’re brainwashed. Predators prowling; Devouring prey, teeth rip flesh; Everywhere carnage!

Innocence

That lonely girl
Picking Cotton afield
Which the bible carrying
Crooked man
Brainwashed her parents
That she is possessed:
In her lives some a thousand and one spirits.
She isn't the same anymore
The spirits are gone,
With them;her hymen
At thirteen; her Innocence gone.
And the Bible man mounts his pulpit
Same way he mounted her
This time to invoke death on me
For telling tales.

Against the River

In the land of tall buildings
I swim in the seas of suburban life
people and cars move as fish and waves
along with trends and expectations
sometimes stereotypes flood the city
causing people to drown into new ideas
copying one another
On the other hand,
I go against that flow
seeing no need to be brainwashed
into being identical to one another
because being myself
is truly an amazing thing

New City - Get Ready

What did they say?
Their songs of misery and pain
What did they say?
Choral impressions of how they were slain
Oh those sad songs
What did they say?

Sorry - it was
All in vain...

Perfection of impurity
I shake hands with simplicity
Brainwashed and blinded blissfully
I resonate epiphany

Where vision fails
Insight is gained
And finally I realise
All it takes is just one smile
Then surely it will be alright...

Poolside Reverie

i remember
being by the pool
i was no more than ten
my grandmother
was enjoying herself
chatting and laughing
suddenly
i caught
myself thinking

it will be nice
to get to that age
and not care
what my body
looks like

what !

even at that age
i knew
there was something
wrong

they had gotten
to me

i was already
brainwashed
