Looks
Looks
———

What could make me look this way, bent and rotted ill dismay, I feel them always staring at me, in hidden places that I shouldn’t be, but who are they really to me, their blanked and dreary expressions, are like a mirror that I never see,...

A Momentary Loss
I lost you in the food store; I walked down several aisles looking for you, could not remember what you were wearing. I blanked, could not recall your face had to trace a line in the palm of my hand follow it up to my heart, then I had to stop still and wait for my body to catch up.

Premium Member Snow Rain Snow
It snowed through the day
Then through the evening
The trees no longer bare
Decorated with fluffy snow

The bushes blanked
All dressed in white coats
Snowflakes fell all day

Then through the evening
The weather changed to rain
It melted the snow that spread
Turning brown grass to green

The next day it snowed
Covering the ground again
The bare trees dressed-in snow
Bushes once again coated white...

A Lonely Night
A lonely night
Staring in the wall
Of eternity
A phone call
A glance

A second chance
Is out of sight
But not groovy
In the scenes
Of a movie

Blanked out
Black sleep
Rehearsal
For death

(a calm, breathless coffin)

a porch swings
a window blares
heat

sweat sires unreason
and a season of visions

dripping colors
Absinthe abstained

Schizophrenia unchained

(birds fly teeth grit)

a cool song plays on

revelation in a second

a dove flies echoes...

12:32 Am
I lie here.
Alone at 12:32 A.M,
thinking about you.

I lie here.
Sad at 1:43 A.M.,
missing everything about you.

I lie here.
Crying at 3:22 A.M.,
because I will not be able to see you.

I stand up.
Walking at 4:44 A.M.,
pacing up and down, scared for you.

I sit down.
Realizing at 5:59 A.M.,
I have one minute to say goodbye to you.

I look, intensely.
Blanked-face at 6:01 A.M.,
as the beep fades into nothing, comprehending the fact that you’re gone,
forever....
