A Summery Night

the sparkling green trees
alight within blackish swathes
milky horizon

Monolith

monolith wrapped
with blackish aura
now old lion has
lost it's strength
wiggles under the
iron gossamer
sometimes yelps
yawns and sighs
waiting in labyrinth
for macabre end

On a Slow Boat To Nowhere

amidst the thunder and the thuds
of boilers and blocks panting evermore
in a halcyon sea, the territorial gulls
shriek their high-pitched sadness as they soar.

and all throughout the gray outline
the groaning of the waves are heard,
as steel slices through the blackish brine
and lonely hearts are stirred.

Days of Sunny Glad Me Up

days of sunny glad me up
before I fall in gloomy cups
of blackish brew

instead my eyes
drink the light
nectar
elixir
beverage balm
for weary now
for glassy sight

days of sunny had no sting
of gone by youth
a parting thing

days of sunny bade me sing

Liquid Love Falls On

sun's big sparkling eyes
                                earthly body gets high warm
                                      trees and all helpless

                                      big open blue mouth
                               blackish tongues' dazzling kisses
                                       liquid love falls on

Why

Three snails are together,
On the barren sidewalk.
One is oozing a blackish goo,
Unmoving, seemingly injured.
The other two nudge and prod it,
Trying to get it to move.
But, it will not,
It cannot.
Still the other two try,
To help the wounded snail.
If creatures such as these,
Can seemingly show concern for each other,
Why can’t we?

Kissing Her Bare Feet

Like a beast with hungry greed
I am kissing her bare feet
On the bottom of the Deep,
Night has come, but we won’t sleep.
Blackish skies don’t want to spread
Shining stars above my head,
I have come with vicious goal
And you drink my fallen soul.
Drink it through your little sips,
Let me taste the sin of lips,
Day will not excuse my deed,
But I’m kissing her bare feet.

Cow Lover

strongest cloven fiend
a face adored by Venus
beautiful bestial body
so loved by God in Genesis

take the crimson string
tied upon his velvety hide
red thread cuts the skin
ankles bound for the ride

hoisted on the mantle
an all engulfing spiral
upon pearlescent horns
blackish fur of desire

dark red heart
beating at his side
a full blooded kiss
could never be denied

Chilly Chi

CHILLY CHI
© Rajat Kanti Chakrabarty
29 October, 2014

Chilly chi had a blackish pearl she named it Winglow
One night she saw a piggie followed by her beau
                                    Chilly chi spilled the thunder
                                      Cut her pearl-bag asunder
Could not cast pearl before swine because she broke her toe

Goth

Somber grey,true dismay
Abstruse plight,day is night
Assailants might,no armistice
           Goth
Abatoirs full of disgorge
A world depraved,a blackish haze
Ignominous calamity
            Goth
Fathomless,the abyss
Callosity,the damned to be
Feinous atrocities
             Goth
Evil adulation,whole affectation
Amoral fixation,mind controlled nations
Robotic existence,lost in decadence
             Goth

Alphanature

I see a blackish V
held so high,
but where's the other twenty-five?
I hear the buzzing B
as I sigh...
Yet another letter surprise!

In the woods you'll hear J
alluring,
in the midst of spring right on Q!
I toss this world away,
creating
Alphanature from A to U.

I long to harpoon love
on wild C's,
drinking sailor's T; distant stars.
Finding beauty out of
little things
is just the way we poets R!

Signs of God

Greyish mornings skies with tints of pink
Are signs that soon, the sun will wink
And fill the clouds a reddish hue
below the skies of colors blue

Blackish clouds near afternoon
Are signs that rain, will pour down soon
And bring to us some mid-day showers
To wet our beds of garden flowers

The evening skies all full in glow
Are signs that God, was here to show
That life is beautiful and to all take part
His precious gifts to warmth our heart
