insatiable...
a necessary burden
Journeying through life

Premium Member Billboard Peace

Peace has a rebrand
a mogul makeover
on bloodstained sand
where the loyal line up
for the real estate god
to turn over profit
and a people into sod.

Billboard

Speedy Bill was often apprehended
For driving faster than recommended.
He paid officers no heed
Even increased his speed.
Now he’s on a wall decidedly distended.

Every Human a Billboard

Every human being a is bill board
On each on the roadside of life
Devils advertise vices attractively
Angels teach virtues with humility
Skeptics deny everything outright
God records responses quietly

Premium Member Naughty Billboard

Picture a man's hooha on a billboard downtown Ladies would be late, spill coffee on their gowns With their mouths all agape Their makeup in bad shape Those ad boys sure know how to clown around

Premium Member Heaven's Billboard

Just before the sun rises
  and just after it sets
The sky's majesty bursts forth
  Rapture's carnival in jets

of brilliant bold colors
  so rich and so deep
clinging to Heaven's billboard
ere they give way to Time's sweep

Plastic

Fireworks are candy.
Limes are harsh custard.
Burnt out.
Jellyfish don’t float, they sail.
Imagine if jellyfish were dead.
Spiraling.
I have nowhere.
Neuroplastic as an ever changing billboard.
Everyone looks before they crash.

Trunk 2- part two

Yellow yield light
Don't blink -- you'll miss it
Faded boarded churches
Faith for sale
Billboard salvation on the side of the road
Red traffic light
Pink clapboard House
Speed down to twenty
Bump over the tracks
Blind crest ahead
I blinked

The Flesh: a Billboard

Immeasurable,
unlabeled, word-
less by
studded
tears
and
voice,

APHONIC.

Only death by
tenderness
swoops down
as eternity
and her hands,
soft as fire;
as time

the flesh;
a billboard
the soul
neon lights.

Fish Fizzling Out

What the fish
Cannot do with force
It does with stashed funds

Fishy final throw
Of the dice

Fact
The fish is
Running short of water

Facing the funny billboard:
Fishy Fish and Facts

Every flying bird
- sly and sleek-
Ultimately lands
Somewhere somehow

betrayed
red & bloody repeat no shuffle
A neon bruise of a billboard around the reflection of the eye.
Forward facing.
Still I pretend not to see.
I pretend I don’t feel what it does to me.
the lies, my own words
Crochet a defensive
armor for your actions

Swallow each and every word,
take them in and don’t choke;
Smell the cinnamon on my sword
stronger the deeper it plunges;
Flashing lights on a billboard
‘Eat all of my magick.’
I like to play when I’m a bit bored;
Energy I can bestow or revoke;
Shhh, can you feel what is unheard?

The Slogan Read

slogan upon the
billboard of life
read "attachment
is dead"
this rang true
to the disillusioned
eye's of the passers
by
driving by with
angry stares
glaring upon the road of
life
each one with unrequited
love lost
creating hearts of stone
never able to be chiseled

Golden haired girl
Wakes up one morn
LA beckons
Acting storm

The Boulevard reached
She senses form
For a young girl
Not the norm

Office reached
Casting couch
Sleazy dude
Wants her pouch

Future taken
Cast aside
Spent journey
Wasted ride

Billboard gloss
Gullible reader

Shutting Myself Down Emotionally

I'm shutting myself down emotionally
I'll stay on the sidelines and watch you do your thing
I don't wanna blow my whistle
Just play like the game has no rules
I'll put the scores on the billboard
How many times that thing called LOVE failed me
If anyone asks you about me,
Just tell 'em am temporally unavailable

Premium Member Australian farmers, get onto the billboard battalion

Do this now..' be swift; be calm, be focused.' One of the last rights you,
We all have is to choose, whether we
Want to die ' if the WHO get this cdc
Bill through.? Using your senators you
Will no longer hold that right, communisam, has entered..By the side
Gate, you either clean house now or
Loose the Nation.' Be strong and unite.!

Boring and Dull

In Oregon, while we were touring,
We passed through a city called Boring.
We laughed at the name
'Cause it sounded so lame
That to visit, we'd both end up snoring.

A billboard announced (not a joke!)
That in Scotland, one town of Scots folk
Is named Dull, so they dared
To suggest they be paired;
Here's to Boring and Dull - holy smoke!
Form: Limerick

Time and Tide

automobile
Street lamps
billboard lights freezing
The heavy rain late night
sweeps away

an old man
he can't straighten his bent back
he takes a hard breath
white breath to the air
scatter

by his beside
covered their heads with summer clothes
A couple laughing out loud
It passes

cigarette smoke staying in the place
left behind.

A billboard of Mercy

Stuff I don’t deserve
As I swerve through this life
A reflection in time
Jesus is the One
Who takes me to my prime

My life has been a billboard of mercy
God the Father flows and
Shows the love filtering from His Heart
Stuff I don’t deserve but
He allows me to swerve through this life
My life is a billboard of mercy

Premium Member Gregory, Songs Be Written About Thee

Gregory, songs be written about thee
and thy great bravery, fighting dragons
and such. Open arms celebrate thee
and the fire you fought and you won.

Gregory, these songs move to the top,
the billboard lights up with Christmas cheers,
Souper’s stirred by the bee bop -
your ferocity of harmony towards peers.

Africa For Sale

Feel the privatization in its might
A bullet in the African soul-
The sectors sold
The branches squared.

Our pride dwindles
When our Africa is slowly auctioned
To forces of stealth
Ruiners of our democracy.

Our masters slowly gather the spilled milk
Stride by stride
Grinning at the auction table
Their eyes glued on the politician’s billboard:
AFRICA FOR SALE.
