Premium Member Bull Riding Cowboy
bull riding cowboy
the fanciest belt buckle
not easily won

bull wrangling cowboy
the rodeo is in awe
his prowess legend

bull roping cowboy
the happy trophy winner
if he does not die...

Premium Member Tears
Tears what are those?
For me they never came
the belt buckle saw to that,
yet here on soup
poets write of tears,
those of sorrow
those of happiness,
but are these only
manifestations of poetry.
The imagery of a fragment
of an imagination.
Oh boy! Have I never lived?
a tear I need
to be human
this tear I fear... the most!

Premium Member The Antsy King
A brother and sister wanted to play Lego's...
but they were missing some of the pieces
So, they used their imaginations
And made some creations
Out of some pieces of Reece's

They built a king's tower, and a colorful flower...
and a buckle for the king to wear on his belt
But the king dropped his pants...
And he was covered in ants
When his belt buckle started to melt...

Premium Member Lying dont never help a cowboy
you haffa come jake, rodeo won’t be fun without yew.
I’m sorta gonna help with the wrangl’n.
Jake coulda gone, but he wanted to see Sally
new dance hall girl that worked in the big saloon
musta made six excuses, lotsa them
I gotta meet Bob he lied

Don’t wanna try for the silver belt buckle?
Jake shoulda gone rodeoing.
who knew Sally woulda married?
Lesson learned - lying don’t ever help a cowboy....

Premium Member The Confident She
She wore confidence
The way a Texan wears his belt buckle.
Her swagger was not as obvious
But it intimidated the room.

So many looked up when she entered the room.
She commanded our attention
I could not tear my eyes away from her
She was a queen before they were invented

Her chocolate look and her regal ways
Commanded attention
I knew I was staring
But there was no way out

She truly was that marvelous....

Facsimiles Burst In the Jungle
Facsimiles burst in the jungle
Gestures pulling paint off the wall
I've seen it all
Crouched, hideaway consumer companion choice
Urgency gather fervently
Upsetting the sewage balance

Garden shears hanging sturdy frames
Blue collar bastion glowing brain
A belt buckle preacher enlivened struggle
Suicide ransom beneath the huddle

I'm making waves
And riding them too
Street animal casting feather balloons
Whispering a marching tune...

Premium Member Teen Town Dance - Dwm
We were paired up by Teen Town
A TV show from Des Moines
Nancy and Ed were there, our idols

They had us all line up.
No one thought about height.
They lined the boys on one side
The girls on the other

I was in seventh grade.
My sister got a nice short guy
I got the tallest boy ever born
Worst time ever

I was staring at his belt buckle
Frankly I do not know
Which one of us
Was the most horrified
