Premium Member Just Two More Beers

My boyfriend Barney said, "Just two more beers
Then I promise that we'll be out of here."
But when 'Barn' began to weave
And as he started to heave
I reminded him, "You promised, my dear."

Cheers and Beers For Jan

Cheers and Beer for Jan

Anyone knows if Jan drinks beer
Maybe we all should sing her cheer
She is funny and hip
Lets give her a big tip
She is our dazzling queen so dear

Beers

Beers

Friends of mine in hard times

Calls me for a snap!

Reminds me of my old buddies

In a crowded cafe on the Alpines

Should be not consumed

I know very well

But my urge to forgets her

Compelles me

Few Beers

After a few beers.

He just loved to talk,
his words gushed out
like water spraying
from a broken garden hose
on a blistering, hot day;

and his worst fears
seemed to vanish
like beer poured into
a swimming pool
beneath a noonday sun.

After a few beers.

Premium Member Beers and Tears

Men measure life by the number of beers
Women measure life by the flow of tears
It is when the dad farts
His wife moans in her heart
Because her own children laugh and cheer

After a Few Beers

.

After a few beers.

His words gush out
like water furiously spraying
from a punctured garden hose
on a blistering, hot day.
He just loves to talk.

And his worst fears
immediately vanish
like beer poured into
a swimming pool
beneath a noonday sun.

After a few beers.

Chances, Or How To Be a Complete Idiot At 4am After You'Ve Had a Few Beers.

the moon it never rises except when i go to sleep
and the sun it never sets except when i sit and weep
yet i long for you i ache for you my life seems incomplete
so i lie in bed and curse and moan underneath the sheets

it cuts me deep it cuts me hard
and it only gets harder as time advances
so i stand outside in your yard
and take all my chances

Red beers

So here we are,
The sun is burning the stones
Along the river wall. But still
I will walk to the bar in the square.
I will drink « une petite Grim rouge »
The red beer glowing like a ruby
In the gilded glass.
I sit indoors although the terrace
Is shaded and with a slight breeze.
I need the quiet seat to write.
These are days when I sit
and watch life slide past
And drink red beer
and wave hello as friends walk past.
