LEFT ON THE RIGHT HORIZON

Garnet the threshold
Barring the prison vision
Hurled the moon
Satellites launching in my dreams
What's left on the right horizon

Pub - too much to drink
Fingers slip, beer on the floor
Self-moderation

A note to my friends on Soup please don't drink to excess - but if you do, please don't drive! I want you around.

A shy sun plays peek-a-boo with clouds clogging the sky; and barring its path. Dyed in shades of grey; they gather like sheep, clustering overhead; grazing on blue skies. And soon, melancholy tears, morph into raindrops.

Premium Member Graciousness
What more can one ask of solid friends
Who go beyond words to express their love?
With honesty barring flattery
Trusted enough, we keep one another's keys
Who look out for each other, like family

Through the louvered window
The moonlight slips in furtively
Barring her flawless suntanned skin
Musky fragrance pervades the air
Stirring the mind with anticipation
Mellow sensual intoxication.

Wish's
We are all places, barring
That one locality
Fulfillment-ripe, in reach of.
Wish's sunned; and lazy!

The soul of disenchantment;
And the bane of us all!
Haunted, from o'er the next hill
By its lone-sounding call.

Who is the phantom, but lives
His own true self not in!
For what's forced on its esteem
In facade's see-through grin....

Reflections
I see you from afar
Your eyes twinkle
Like the north star
Could you be the missing part of me
That was divided by a tree
Reflections, me being the apple of your eye
And your love being sweet
Just like mom's apple pie
Reflections, of me barring your seed
And we have all that we need
Reflections, of our love that has transcend from above...

Open Carefully
Open Carefully Instructions apply to a box or another's heart..

To be cautious in our actions...

To take great pains and be exact...

To handle with great care ....

Set so as to permit passage...

Having no means of closing or barring....

Without restrictions as to who may participate....

Having the interior immediately accessible....

COPLA 75 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World

If it weren’t for the experiment
Why would our past lives not be known :
Is karma writ

Who among us asked to be re-sent
Barring Bad Guys re-cycled re-born :
Bodies aren’t knit

Don’t guys out there stir the gene pot
To screw up our World with bad juice :
Fun games by far

Make Good Guys stew in bad juice pot
Just to see them turn to Bad Guy Muse :
Deurmekaar

No Happiness
Happiness eludes us even at close range
The heart and mind seem to wander freely into pain
Pushing away the love, barring the doors tight
Preferring to close the drapes
Keeping out the light.

Whom ever wanders through the corridors,
The maze of life and pain
Will not speak lightly of the souls death
the emptiness that remains
Those who know what it is
to accept happiness and breath
Will have known what it was to
have walked, the edge of death....

Address Change
Sending out an address change
to a friend I haven’t seen
in 50 years, I say

my wife and I are moving
someplace new next month
barring something unforeseen.

We realize something unforeseen
isn't likely to happen since
we're prepared for anything

as the years march on
and we march right behind them.
Second only to "I love you”

all we want to hear now is
the phone ring and the doctor say
“Good news. It’s benign."

Old Dog-New Tricks
Can you teach an old dog new tricks
More than chasing balls
Or chewing up sticks
Everyday brings something new
So what do you think
It will teach you
Will you learn to love or to hate
Will you give your heart or will you wait
Hold on to your past or let it go
Will you wag your tail or tuck it low
If this old dog could learn one thing today
teach me kindness to those
who come my way
Without barking or barring of teeth
But a wagging tail for those I meet...

Life Soon To End, Death Soon To Come
Death is indeed what I seek
Say to all, an end to troubles
Is here to soon

No minute shall pass
Hearing mouths utter falsehood
Harts barring blackness
All to have

Not I to be once more
Walking onto poisonous traps
Hurting me on the way
Life gives me this offer

When death comes
I shall not hear cries
Nor pain will I feel
I shall no longer wait

No more will I walk in life
I refuse to take another breath
For life is to me no more
It gives to me no more...

Change
Things change without prediction, for better or worse, changee will be the eternal curse. For it is something you cannot help, not even from happening to yourself. To look at myself from my 15 year old point of view, I wouldnt know who.. who I am or why im so different. From friends to family, no one stays the same, and when you reach that perfect moment, its a shame, because change takes aim again.

Something small to relieve this days barring in my conscience

A Stalemate Epiphany
Imagine imagine
The forest clandestine,
The waterfall, sinless and grand.

Alone in the stillness,
A heart-halting illness,
Beleaguers you, seizing command.

Affairs of the vengeful,
So darkly and dirgeful,
So beautifully stated with lust.

With fate you are weighted,
With passion created,
But constantly lacking in trust.

Discordant and jarring,
Emotions are barring,
The musical mystics are spry.

In heaven artistic,
In hell optimistic,
On earth realistic, they die....

The Crystal Cage
It sparkles while you sleep, streaming ribbons through your breath,
Distilled so brightly, glaring lightly yet so neat.
Like acres covered in forest, it blankets your desires,
Barring great cold crystal arms in the form of façades.

A brilliant glitter haze sheds blinding smothered comfort,
As sketches turn to stairwells and seconds turn to years.
With a tossed set of keys, and a locket for a heart,
Wandering the crystal, sifting through the shine,

Patiently you wait, facing only time.....
