Rain of Blessings
As rain of blessings comes down , babies kick into bellies of barrens.

Only You
Filling the morning sky
Only you
Crossing barrens
Only you
A children’s voice
Only you
Stolen dreams
Only you

always grasping at straws,
and feeding on lies.

Somehow, you still stand
in the barrens I despair.
Some days, I would join you,
but it's cold out there ...
