For Barbarous and Flagitious
Portance is very Bedraggled;
A-be-ce-dar-ians,
or the Adroitly,
are ALLERGIC

Uncouth

Medieval German Castle
Stone for stone, this raised grandeur
With the mountain's contends.
Beauty, austere. With both hiding
Terror's own face within!

One's stormy past of fierce-struck
Outcries, most barbarous
Wolf-sharp, flashingly echoed
Afar stormed; elked and roed....

THE AFFAIR OF DELILAH’S BARBER Delilah’s decadence was hard to bare. Barbarous Philistines, they’d cut his hair. His new growth wrought with chillers. They had chained him to pillars. Samson fell house in an awful affair. 6/30/2017 Broken Poetry Contest Broken heart, Broken relationship,Broken enemies

Time
Time. Is he a barbarous master? Or
Perhaps, a humble servant to the core
My heart shrinks from an echo
Of his whispers in the pipes of life
Tick! Tick! Tick!

With every blissful tick, he delivers breath
With every dreadful tick, he delivers death
And here I am starring at his face
Like it holds the map to this maze
As the house burns
As the house burns....

My Deadly Sin
My Deadly Sin

Apathy lets evil win.
Gossip is among the Ten.

Cruelty is simply barbarous.
Three of Seven mentions avarice.

Hell burns hot for hypocrites.
Stygian fates await the bigots.

And may there be little respite,
For the tyrant nor the despot.

These are sins that I abhor,
But, alas, there is one more.
Among them all, it's even worse;
It's penning lists of bad to verse....

Come True To Love In Life
I found that floor,
. For which my heart was barbarous,
It is with today, he is with me,my life of spring.

                   All sorts of happiness,
                  All the pain in forgetting,
                         Today love got,
                          I love you dear.

                 Do not worry me anymore,
When you are with me now,
I have got life again from you....

Some Noises
Some noises startle, jolt or jar
While others soothe or soften.
We perk up for the new but tune out
Those we hear quite often.

To locals, city sirens make
The tiniest impression
But visitors consider them
A barbarous transgression.

The hum of traffic rolling by
To urbanites equates
With cricket chirps or chickadees
In countryside debates.

The noises that surround us
Are as varied as our homes
Or the subjects and the wording
Of a plethora of poems....

What a simple
and beautiful premise- - - - -
Everything That Lives Is Holy!
If only we
as the human race
could follow it
and give Life the respect
that it deserves
We'd have no more
degradations, barbarous acts,
despicable killings..... Wars!
All religions preach this concept
It is a thread
that binds all humanity
What will it take for
our leaders to understand this?
Every day there are
so many useless deaths
When will it sink in?
Hopefully with the Grace of God...
