blushing brides with bated breath,
crazy crackheads cooking meth,
silent souls succumb to stress....

Bewitching us with their magic touch.
Frankenstein sneaking up in the night.
Witch’s heavy brews that make us light.

As we kids levitate into the air,
Vampires chase, giving us a scare.
Halloween is fantastic kids’ play.
And it is only two months away!

Listen for the shriek of the bat or cat.
If you hear a moan run away out flat!
Fierce werewolves are on the prowl you see.
If they grab you, you’ll be dead like me....
