Halloween

A time for werewolves, zombies, bones,
For spiders, vampires, ghosts and bats,
Blood curdling shrieks and chilling moans,
Of walking corpses, witches’ cats,
See scuttling beetles, ghouls and rats.

Old warlocks chant and banshees cry,
The carved out pumpkins light the way,
And broomsticks soar across the sky,
As shrivelled mummies flaunt decay:
It’s Halloween or All Souls’ Day.

Very cute Jack. It's not far off. Only two months away and we all will be preparing for the ghosites and goblins. Really good imagery here. God Bless, JB

those banshees are hair raising..... My poor rooster is a sad sight....I don't know why he has to pluck himself....He doesn't really like the rain but doesn't like to be hot.

Oh yes, these are all the sites we see as children in costumes parade through the streets on Halloween, Jack. What a clever way to do a divain! Best wishes in Dr. Ram's contest with this extraordinarily creative write. Love, Carolyn
