Headless Horseman

The headless horseman
Appears to folk on dark nights
They scream like banshees
The black steed gallops away
Frightened by such loud noises

Goose bumps jumping and chills are chilling!...perfect for Halloween, Jack!...clever ending too...I remember seeing 'Legend of Sleepy Hollow' on TV as a youngster....been a fan ever since...This should do well very well in the contest...very effective 'pivot' line - Tim

Ha ha, the black steed ran off because of all the loud noises, ha ha! Not too scary when that happens! Oh sorry, seriously though, this is a wonderful Halloween write my friend! I really enjoyed this awesome poem, full of fear and great impact within! Fantastic piece, Great Work!!
