Is for real the poignant due hit.

It is somehow on poignant target;
Definitely grounding banquet.

Banquet

Finding a date,
Is the most horrible fate.
I think I should just go alone.
I stand there in fear,
Wondering how to ask my peer.
I think I'm just not gonna go.

Inside the hatch
your demons will remain awake;
Inside the hatch
they open you and take their catch;
Rich banquet the Beast will partake
waiting for your control to break,
inside the hatch.

Robin's Banquet

The merry men and Robin Hood
Were drinking in the local wood
And roasting harts.*

The meat, they said, was very good;
They even ate, it’s understood,
The private parts.

Sharing the World

Dear girl friend,
 don't be so selfish...
 life is a full table,
 a lavish banquet, do not
 eat all alone...
 Offer me some of that
 food... of this life...
Share a little of yourself... !
 With me... !

Refused and Bruised

A banquet was arranged by a king
but the guests wouldn't come to the wedding.
     One and all they refused,
     so the king feeling bruised
welcomed all who could be found to join in.

Nature's Table Haiku

terra cotta earth
baking in sun's open kiln
large empty table

Today I Fast

A bigger bite of life
for a hunger meant to last
Insatiable inherence
starvation my repast

Partaking of tomorrow
in dreams of future feasts
Anticipations banquet
—where ravenous I eat

Make Me Worthy

Lord, I have come,
ready to do your will.
I know the call is for everyone,
but the chosen are few.
Though the last shall be first,
I stand a stranger at your banquet.
Make me worthy,
that I may sit at your table.

Behold a festering feast
underneath the sumptuous banquet
waking the dreary aura
as we waft in
ethereal flavor
served in golden platter
matched with forks and daggers
luring each man
down his pit

Loving the Lion

Cold
weather
will not kill
the queen- yellow
lion feed the bee.
Survival rides upon
the wind, the child's breath scatters
seed. Gold finch come, a banquet set
feast before summer 's demise. Love the
lion and her seed, love the yellow weed.

Banquet

One droplet
following another
on windowpane
crying
anemic light
ushering in
fall’s open door
to wonder
vermillion of swords
in triumph
splendor of life
in cycle
morsels on pits
to winter on
mind’s teeth
at the classroom

Love heals
Hate kills
Health is a thought
Away…

The mind a labyrinth
of joy and pain

The soul its abode

The spirit
Our body of travel
and tasting

Life can be a banquet
or bellyache

when the eating out
is eating the within….

Swifts

The sky `s their scene
Banquet theirs in blue
Swerving arcs of black serene,
Black shrapnel of an angel`s song.

A dance of life itself
Relentless unremitting
Screaming songs of joy.

All creatures great and small.
Small nothings lshowing us the awe.

Dance not the least
Come to life's feast

Dare to live well
Just where cheer dwells

Dream after dream
Watch love weave theme

Dwell in the light
Hope honours sight

Dust upon dust
In God we trust

Premium Member Life Is Not Vii

Life is not a banquet or a treat my mortal friends,

Neither is it a playground for ourselves to enjoy

It is instead a place of strife and deprivation

Where to last we need, God-given talents to employ!
