Morning Sun Glow
The sun comes up in the eastern sky.
Touching the earth with a warmth glow.

Tree
The tree shuttered in the cold
It had to be so darn bold
It lost the leaves that adorned
Naked, now forlorn

Woodland Prism
Spring harkens the sun
Kaleidoscope of colors
harmoniously dance
Enchanting the woodland glow
An explosion of prisms pool.

Small Things
With faith... lies
all hope
be thankful for all
we have
***we are truly
blessed***
It is the small
things in life
that we should
cherish the most.

Sun and Moon
warm heat radiates
baking the soft fertile soil
regeneration
casting bright shadows
over sphere covered earth's crust
illumination
the brightness of day
a stark contrast to the night
rays versus moon beams

Dancing Lights
Glow of lights dancing in the sky
Flow of movement in twilight
Grow visions of colorful hues
Throw star dust into the night.
Night prevails in magical glow
Height of perfection patterns appear
Lights radiant reflect in the sky
Sight exquisite~ our heavens near.

I do not know?
Inner Child
The child that lies inside of me
Being so blind that it cannot see.
That inner child refuses to grow
In growing, maturity, you show.
Baby steps, makes you grow, you see
It is easy like A, B, C.
The child was in a playful mood
I laughed until it felt so good.
I will grow up one of these days
For now, I will remain this way.

Friendship
Your friendship has touched my heart
Forever near, never far apart.
As another birthday has drawn near
Wishing you the best in this coming year.
Your friendship has meant the world to me
We both have been blessed you see.
That was the way it was meant to be
One part you--- one part me.
*** FRIENDS for eternity***

Back Yard
Water wheel running
cascading over slate rocks
the water pours fast
down the mini waterfall
into the large pond below.
Gold fish are thriving
nine fishes swim in this pond
from the gazebo
watching them dart in the pond
chasing each other around.
Raspberry plants grow
along with my small garden
the potted flowers
sit high on my five foot deck
where they survey my back yard.

The Snowy Owl
When the sun sets in the western sky
And night descends upon the land
The snowy owl awakes from his rest
And in the forest seeks a dinner guest
This nocturnal hunter sits and waits
With one graceful swoop from it's branch
Appears like a white ghost
Swiftly and silently gets it's prey
Any movements noticed
In one swoop catches it's meal.
