Tree

The tree shuttered in the cold It had to be so darn bold It lost the leaves that adorned Naked, now forlorn by Phyllis Babcock 20/02/121

I just saw your comment back to me. ALL RIGHT!!!!(and did you see that YOUR poem here inspired another poet to write a beautiful one on trees. I forgot who it was but I read it a while back).

Ah but then the winter queen, Looked down on Tree in sympathy, And gave to her a lovely gown, Of snow in perfect symmetry. Now the tree stands all adorned, In glowing wintry grandeur, And all who see her stand in awe, Of Tree in Winter's splendor. Thanks so much for your comment on my Aussie Outback Vacation Phyl. Glad you liked it. Good to hear from you again. Loved your poem. Hope you don't mind my adding to it. God Bless, JB
