Eyes So Daring

My mature face speaks
Eyes daring you to debate
Such intelligence
You may be advanced in years
Yet today I am more shrewd.

I Am Cute

What is this I see?
A camera clicking me.
I’m not smiling.
Just feel free, go ahead shoot.
I’ll just sit here and look cute.

Crystal Clarity Caught In Dops

Crystal clarity caught in drops

water is pristine and

genteel,

as it gurgles, babbles and plops

flowing over the land

with zeal.

Batter Up

My first poem you see
about how sweet I can be.
See my pretty dress?
Man I want to make a mess.
How'll I do it, can you guess?

Poetic Angel

Little angel smiles
Holds the world in tiny hands
Sings new golden songs
Sent especially by Him
To make world a better place

Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy’s little girl -
chip off the old hard hitter -
I watch and I learn. . . . .
I'll make the world my ball and
make it work; Dad showed me how!

Baby Babbles

I'm so shiny bright
Mommy calls her daughter Sun
Aren't I a delight
Little sweetheart's made for fun
Pint-sized diva's just begun

Pretty Thoughts

You think I’m pretty
I am, though more than just that.
So very pretty,
I can read each of yours thoughts.
Good thing, I cannot talk yet.

Bibble the Blue Footed Booby Battles Brothers Bestie

Bibble, the Blue Footed Booby believes bubbles are beautiful.
Babs B. Brown, his brother’s best bestie bashes his belief to bits.
Bibble blusters and babbles, breezily blowing bright blue bubbles.
Bibble’s Booby brother, Billy barely arrives before a battle begins.

Mavis

Mavis was a party girl but a boor

She's not welcome at parties anymore

      She causes people to yawn

As she babbles on and on

At twelve miles per with gusts to fifty-four

Babble

The spring brook
ran through the sun dappled woods
like a child at recess,
tumbling pebbles and tossing sticks.
The brook babbles of up coming May,
as it roars past the roots
of skunk cabbage, and barren birches.
Blue jays and robins drink at its edge
singing with the nectar, the run off,
the rebirth of ice, to pure water.

A Poet's Dream

The words of love
They echo from a poet’s dream
The words of love
Are the divine call from above
That babbles in a forest stream
Destiny found in lunar beam
The words of love

Moments of joy
When a heart accepts all that is
Moments of joy
When eyes linger, a little coy
Caught in a lover’s gentle kiss
Before yielding to sensual bliss
Moments of joy

Elemental Senses

Air shares its delightful grace
  stroking, caressing every face.
Wind tickles crawling clouds
  Then breezes by whistling loud.
Fire jigs a spritely dance
  spouting quips with pops and
  cracks.
Water gulps a bubbling brew
then babbles back a trickling tune.
Earth gazes cooly at warm light
and breathes the musk of days
damp night.

Poetry

Hidden in the midst of lustre eyes,
Craving to be labelled and disentangled,
Such a noble deed and enterprise
Can only by a poet's hand, be mantled.

With a papyrus and a quill
In delight, he basks in poetry.
Such feeling that stirs the soul to squeal
As with shaky hand, babbles away in ecstasy.

Her

A picture crept in,
Through all those memories,
Where I found myself ,
Besides my mother's knees,
When her brown hairs,
Gleamed red,
Fell on her shoulder,
Then dropped over my head.
When her hands fondled my forehead,
Stroked through my hairs,
When her words formed my babbles,
Her scolds,my care.
Backward, turn backward, O Time, in your flight,
And make me again her four year old child.

Penny Rich

Birth, with stars in her eyes, exploding with mirth. Mollycoddled, swaddled, passed off by nurses. Aperture opens, closes - checking out earth. The peacock calligrapher inks fair verses. Not bad for a Penny - they sold a circ worth. The switchboard oohs and ahhs as she converses. Under the sagacious skies, each phonation Recorded in babbles with their duration. 9/24/2022

Lovelorn Lass

In the canyon, deep and long,
The brook babbles Nature’s song
The silent, secluded valley profound
Is overflowing with that sound.

Yon the mountain, the meadows green,
With the pond of water still and serene
On the stilly full- moon night
The ripples reflect pallid light.

The black-bees are crooning,
The fireflies are shining,
An innocent, lonesome, lovelorn, lass,
Singing madrigals in the wilderness sobs!!

My Son

I prayed for a son ,
And god blessed with me one .
To me .............
Every moment with him is fun.

He is so cute and small ,
More pretty than a doll .

His chubby face is very pretty ,
His chuckles makes everyone witty .
His babbles make him look naughty
His smiles send me ,
Miles to ecstasy .
His giggles drive me into fantasy .

I pray the lord once , twice , and thrice
To keep away my son from evil eyes .
