To a Distant Future Boyfriend

Will you be mine,
will you wait for me,
in the murky future
that I just can't see?
Attach to my soul
and don't let go--
Give me a chance
when I move too slow.

Honeysuckle Wandering

Amazing
how smells
attach to a memory

More vivid
than eyesight
hearing or touch

They wait
deep inside us
to capture the moment

When all
other senses
—have started to rust

Signature

How do I align my thoughts of contort?
Seal this confused mind and it’s subconscious.
The corrosion of my heart will no longer allow me to attach to those I love.
Anxiety runs through my veins.
To you it’s a surprise, to me it’s internal pain.
I write to keep me sane.
In that moment it’s just a blur.
The cuddled letters at the end.

My signature.

Flowering season; don't you go
Half our to the core
Don't go to pluck the flower!
How blooming ah! Perfumed

Lovely surprise had our core
How composed, wish happiness.
Yellow-Green in color like butterfly wings
Dream come true to attempt.

Flowering season; don't you go
The sweet birds and attach to lose
Aah! We don't disappointment!
How cool and calm in the garden.

Premium Member The Same Alphabet

I hope one day the world is blessed to understand
every person we meet or have ever met
no matter what letter or letters we attach to them…
are part of the same alphabet.

That the same alphabet where we get L G B T and Q
has the letters H A T E and L O V E too.

That it’s not the letters that can hurt a person
that injure or offend them
It’s how we see the letters
It’s how we choose to blend them

My Celestial Sled

I was looking at the starry sky
When past a comet sped.
Oh, how I wished I could
Attach to it a sled.

I'd hurtle through the universe
Such things would I see,
Planets never seen before
And distant galaxies.

I could watch a super nova
Dodge pulsars cosmic rays,
And marvel at planetary rings
As I toured the milky way.

I could fly through a nebula
As on and on I sped,
Then shoot off to infinity,
Aboard my celestial sled.

Premium Member Mama Dandelion

She was a great mama
Her seeds fly off in many directions
Dispersing themselves in farms, gardens, meadows
Some attach to cattails next to ponds

She feels confident
Her seeds know what to do
They are ready; fully prepared
She watches them go, knowing she did her best

How many other dandelions can say this?
Her husband says, “How can you watch them go?”
I am proud of it, she says.
Glad I was woman enough to prepare them for the world.

Premium Member My Whatcha Ma Call It

Has anyone seen my ding a ling?
You wouldn’t dare ask “what is it”.
I will just say it’s the cutest thing.

It must be a cousin of my widget,
about which my wife often digs.
It hasn’t a name, only a digit.

I also have some thing-a-ma-jigs
that attach to fishing lures, you know.
My heart sings making world famous rigs.

While pointing my do hickey just so
I turn on my color gizmo, git go.

Blame Is Not a Cure

in a storm of Uncertainty
haunting signs of conspiracy
rise from the stands
whisper from the sands
papers mailed to hands
invasion of many lands
an invisible enemy
crosses land and sea
an invader from inner space
arms from a hidden face
attach to the human race
technology stares into outer space
to find an alien life-form trace
while fingers point to a hidden room
with white coats that weave their genetic loom
still life is lost way too soon

Portraits Of Life

Rainbow has many colors
Just life is blend with dark and light
Happy and gloomy moments, yet
We thank God for the blessing we receive.

Roses are red and pretty, yet
It has many thorns attach to it
Just life is blend with hope and glory
We thank God we survive each day we live.

Road is clean and pave, yet
It has many crossroads and avenues to take
Just life is blend with decision and option, yet
We thank God we're able to cross finishing line safe.

My Warm Regard

R-eceive my warm regard,
O-ne wish with words of mirth;
N-ice clime greets the day,
N-ew dawn cheers your birth.
I-t's my pleasure to send good notes to bring delight;
E-vening shadows disappear, as the sun is shining bright.

B-ig bash causes comfort,
A-ugust fifteenth early morn;
R-ain and loneliness have turned
I-nto joy that won't get worn.
R-apture and euphoria
I-'ll attach to the birthday card;
N-eeded to be delivered,
G-iving you my warm regard.

Premium Member Do You Care?

How much spit do you have to wipe off your face?

How many thorns do you have to remove after every curse we attach to your name?

How many times do we have to bury you, and you come back with more grace and love?

Every praise we give you feels like a blade piercing through the rib cage of eternity.
Twisting & grinding against the bones of peace

Looking into our eyes with the silent screams of forgiveness
Looking legion into the eyes, screaming
I LOVE YOU!
