The sky was clear,
    the ocean blue,
        it was long ago

We walked along without fear,
    soft breezes blew,
        with the sky aglow.

Puffed white clouds above,
    sailed across the skies,
        we watched the flight of a pure white dove.

Back at that time,
    there was very little crime,
