Growing old is not a big deal
Your only has old as you feel
Age you'll find
Is all in the mind
It's those aches and pains that are real....

Young At Heart
Young at heart
Well that’s a start
You’re only as old as you feel
Isn’t that the deal?
Well in my heart I feel young
But when all said and done
Being young at heart, let’s face it
Still means you’re older in other places...

Juan Ponce de Leon, an explorer
     searched for the Fountain of Youth

   He thought it somewhere in Florida
     'til somebody told him the Truth

   You're as old as you feel
     in your heart and your mind
   The FOY's not in Florida ~

     Tap into your soul
     It's there for to find...

How Old?
Time--it moves like a scalded cat,
And I--I creep like a snail.
Like a long tailed cat in a lawn mower's path,
I am nearing the end of my tale.

Now, it's said that you're only as old as you feel,
And aging, they say, doesn't hurt,
But, try to believe you're as young as you feel,
When you feel like you're older than dirt....

Play on words here:
Opt thus to be;
Etch notes of cheer,
Taste what sketch frees;
Rest feels fond spheres,
Yield heart that sees.

Prize each day well:
Odd strains of choice;
End as start dwells,
Touch with clear voice;
Raise words that tell,
Yes knows stern voice.

Peace holds the flame:
Old ways prompt feel;
Ease firms your name,
Trust helps soul heal;
Rise beyond blame,
You know love thrills.

When a Man Finds Peace and Mary Finds Her Lamb
We see the world, through these borrowed eyes.
A place of wonder, with the bluest skies.

Though we can't help it, we slowly go blind.
Till wonder's bleak and, thats' the darkest kind.

Until we are old, and lungs feel the burn.
We'll know what it was, we came here to learn.

Whispers in church bells, or heard in the wind.
A person suffers, because he has sinned.

Soon the sun will rise, when love's spell is cast.
And a man finds peace, in his heart at last!
