My goldfish Finster Darcy
Speaks English but not Farsi
He has an education
And moral reputation
He does kung-fu better than you
He's such an inspiration.
Snuck out in secret
Hit me like a runaway train
Silent but violent

its not a trade
it will never fade
its a gift
for some stiff
its a godly thing it brings
love to the world
for the boys and girl
be apart of this lot
REPECT THE ART'S
when its holiday time
you see corlor lines
bright light shine
as you wine and dine
pictures on the wall
that say all
it s part of the season chart
for this reason
SEASON OF GRIPIC ART'S
Frozen and left for dead
I can speak no words
nor shake my head
only the sky
moves on
above me

A mind flowing through creativity,
Opening senses to conductivity,
Pour every internal notion,
Every churned emotion,
To the craft,
Til final draft,
It is incomplete,
Until art is obsolete.
she has a roman
nose i know
because
she
can
smell
a philistine
beneath her
but her spell pray
thee well is
more then
scent
for i'm
her prey
and she kills
me by tickling

Why the jasmine was
now becoming sensual ?
Drummer was dead.
The blackbird comes
again to sing bluesy.
Clouds on moon ?
Economy of love ?
Will you bargain the
delta for stone ?

to crickets staccato notes-
a blue glitter-bug in flight-

industrial and
banker...politician and
military man
they are all the same...
when running the world for us
it's profit for them
why not people from...
say...the arts sciences as
our freedom leaders
Art follows ecology
of inductive diametrical synergy
As science leads logos
through deductive dialectical simplicity
As religious culture accompanies mythos
seducing ancient dialogues
in amusing sage symmetry
I weave imagery with my pen and words...and images with my brush and paints.

j`ai dessiné
l`amour
avec des lettres
sculptées en couleurs
qui parlent
pastel
de nostalgie
d`automne
encadré
comme un souvenir

I hate vices;
Temptations,
Lies,
Hatred,
And Darkness.
But now these are my vices;
I succumb to the Temptations.
I eat and throw up Lies.
I am fueled by these Hatred.
I am now one with the Darkness inside.
Does that mean I hate myself?
The queen of hearts loves the arts
After the show, she will say bravo
And if you mess up off with your head
You will be dead
So the diamonds dance
The clubs are a choir
The spades write plays for days
The joker's joke
And the king sings
The splendor of Nature
a magnificent waterfall
miraculous wonder of life
turn around -- a baby is tall
transposed to canvas, to print
or even to musical instrument
pale reflections, we deem them 'Fine Arts'
we envious creators, who yearn to take part
I am artist and poet.
Art is poetry for eyes;
Poetry, art for the heart.
They are me...I'm them.
Sister arts have ties that bind,
Imagery by brush or words.
My sister arts, me, are one;
They mirror my soul.

Maybe there's a world that you have to leave behind,
You can look at it through open or closed eyes,
It happens for a purpose,
It happens for a reason,
We just so often dont know why,
Tell me all about,
Get the pain out,
Let the world know about,
Just get up there and shout.
The artist says
Give me a paper
I will cut it into different designs
Give me a string
I will tie it into a decoration
Give me a brush
I will bring you a scenery
Give me some colours
l will brighten up your dream
Give me some imaginations
I will beautify your life and future
beneath the canvas glows the dullness of colors;
flatten by the piercings;
sack of colors;
bold beautiful blacks and whites;
be it ever so bountiful;
I choose to draw my own constrictive arts?

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
Makeshift art
patches of cloth
second-hand music
on textbook drums
Cuisine foraged
from lawns untended
literature culled
torn pages blended
Creative genius
knows no bounds
objects of derision
make beautiful sounds
A world denied the creative arts will grieve
The pleasures music and visual arts achieve,
And, let us never forget, the writers' crafts
Have they yet invented a robot that laughs?
