The splendor of Nature
  a magnificent waterfall
miraculous wonder of life
  turn around -- a baby is tall

transposed to canvas, to print
  or even to musical instrument
pale reflections, we deem them 'Fine Arts'
  we envious creators, who yearn to take part

I blinked my eyes and my baby is 49 years old! "turn around -- a baby is tall" In 6 months she will be 50. What? I do not feel 50 myself so this one really hit me as REAL.

Garsh, is your baby out of diapers yet. I'm still brushing my 43-year-old's teeth! O.K. - not really. But I did know someone who was brushing her 15 year-old-son's teeth. And he was quite normal otherwise.

Ever wish you could write poetry, Michelle? -- Well, wish no more! Your write beautiful poems, poems that stir the heart and challenge the mind. Next up -- drawing and painting. I'm serious. My father could draw a stick figure at age 50... The walls of our house bask in the glow of his outstanding paintings, all done from age 52 onward. Some say, How can I? Other say, How can I not?! ~ Just sayin...
