Here comes the mighty,
and omnipotent of all
making His people
shine and dance with only tools,
of felicity and love
with curtains drawn i bathe in dawn's sunlight,
r e l i n q u i s h i n g yesterday
with an audible yawn.
The click-clack of reindeer hooves on the roof;
A tight slide down the chimney;
Santa’s delivery.
arrival of dawn
soulmates reluctant to part ~
long farewell embrace

Absolutely
Unfettered
Goodness
Undaunted by the eventual arrival of fall
Scrappy summer month hanging on
Thank you August
hot, crowded platform
repulsive subway station
rush of rank damp air
screeching heralds arrival
beast covered in urban art
a colorful sky
thickens into bursting gray---
winter's arrival

There is no right or wrong on the dark side of the grass: The fact of one’s arrival is the end-all. The “why” no longer matters.

We run from the lunchroom
Upon her arrival
flat out run…
The insurmountable joy
That comes from the greatest news
The arrival of a friend
Is sure imminent

This diamond ring shines with delight
My nails I polished
waiting for its arrival
The other fingers were excited too
They all rejoiced
Into the earth
is our final fate,
the best we can hope for
is to be really late...
Damn, I'm always 10 minutes
early for everything!

The cool chill of the winter
Shivers down, the spine of trees
Leaves harden with frost
As sun brings warmth
Helping grass from coming cold
Refreshing season,
The still dead are awakened,
The dying sprout up,
Nature’s hue is everywhere,
A harbinger of newness.

train whistles in distance
sounding its arrival
people stand and wave
never been on train
to admire wonderful views
the beauty I miss
Justice
Still sits waiting
Little has changed over time
We still await her arrival
With hope
leaves swirl in the wind
squirrels scurry with stuffed cheeks ~
autumn arrival

there once was a dog named clyde
his owner did take him to ride
on arrival I swear
they sheared all of his hair
now all that he wants, is to hide
At premature ejaculators anonymous
I sat all alone in the meeting room
And I pondered my solitary situation
And concluded that I just came too soon

Our god’s not dead on arrival
Fall sashays in with chilly air,
bright swirling leaves, and season’s fare—
all subjects of the poet’s pen.
With chilly air, fall sashays in.
